Sick of Ash's Pikachu

Should Ash evolve Pikachu

ok i get it that pikachu is pre much the face of pokemon but
it also makes it super unrealistic.
in many of the episodes pikachu takes down pokemon that its not even effective against such as onix.
in the game this would never happen unless pikachu was a super high level (which its not)
 
Pikachu has defeated several Raichu in the series so strength is not the case. I love that it is still Pikachu and I feel like it would have a negative effect on the show.
Besides. pikachu is the face of Pokemon and will and should always be.

I agree. While I think it's ok that Pikachu defeats some uber oppenents, I hate it when it zaps Pokemon such as Brock's Geodude or Onix. Pikachu defeats some Pokemon that just makes me go WTFFFFFFFF. It's only for the sake of the show and the kids watching. If little Pikachu doesn't win oh boo hoo. I can understand how he beat Surge's Raichu, but an Onix, Pikachu shouldn't stand a chance against. Also, why do they make Onix so weak in the anime!!! Every time I see one it gets defeated by like, a tackle.
 
Abiding the law of physics was never a strong point in the Pokemon anime. For example Pikachu is able to knock over a Torterra in the 10th movie, which is roughly about 50 times the weight of Pikachu. Not to mention that Pikachu sometimes can dodge attacks while being in midair.

Pokemon isn't Pokemon without Pikachu, so it is not going to evolve into a Raichu. It's like a Gundam serie with only regular mobile suits.

I prefer that Pikachu stays the way it is. Pikachu is refusing to evolve and Ash respect that opinion and instead Ash is using other methods to defeat the stronger opponents. Being stronger doesn't guaranty a win.
 
I wouldn't mind an Episode that has Pikachu evolve because Buneary wanted to see a sexy buff version of Pikachu and somehow it Devolves.

But a permanent evolution? I think I'll go watch Death Note now, thank you.
 
they should just make an episode where pikachu evolves. then he'll do things as a raichu like get into battles, run around, eat poffins, etc etc. then pikachu should wake up from this dream.

And like everyone else is saying for the tenth time, I don't think Pikachu's gonna evolve because it just doesn't want to. Besides, didn't Ash say Pikachu likes to sit on his shoulder? :)
 
I agree with many people here about how Pikachu's really unrealistic...

But... I want Pikachu to be the same since he's so cute!!
 
i think because Pokemon is still open to a large amount of child views, pikachu will not evolve. But if the show was ment for a older age group then yes i think pikachu would evolve.
 
I can't believe any pokefan would want Pikachu to evolve, Raichu would be boring:P
 
... If you look at Pokemon Summer School, Ash & Raichu (I know it's not his) don't have as good a chemistry, and note: He's never kept a big Pokemon in a region transfer ... & Gewitterdrache, your a sicko, worse then the my avatar

If so, Ash and pikachu would be dead by now and nobody would be crying.
 
If Pikachu would evolve, Ash's strategy's gonna get cut out because of Raichu's size. Just imagine Raichu using the spinning dodging trick like the one on the Oreburgh Gym. Raichu's too big to pull that off.
I prefer Ash become a champion without evolving his Pikachu forever.
Anyway, I won't mind if ALL of the other pokemon that Ash have would evolve, most of them are just...plain cool. (Especially Staraptor)
 
Altough I freaking LOVE Raichu, I still prefer Ash to keep his Pikachu.
Me and my boyfriend have discussed that a few times. "Evolve or not?" But I still think; not!

It wouldn't be the same without Pikachu. I mean, he've been there since the beginning. It's almost like they'd kick Ash out of the anime. :<

two things wrong. (well I think there are)

1 Raichu is not cute and pikachu is cuter

2 if he were to evolve it , it would probably need to return because Raichu is quite a slow pokemon and it won't fit on ash's sholder


so I think no
