I'm sure a lot of you know abut Signature Moves in Pokemon - where a specific Pokemon or evolutionary line are the only Pokemon who know a specific move! What do you think about only one group/Pokemon having access to a move? What is one that you would like to see all Pokemon have? And finally, what is your favorite?

I feel it'd be nice if Volt Tackle were available to wider range of Pokémon. There are many great physical electric-types out there, and I believe they could take a ton of advantage of it. If I'm not mistaken, this move's more or less an electric variant of Take Down, and since almost all normal-types could learn it (as well as others), it would make sense if they were to make Volt Tackle available to more electric Pokémon.

If they could, I'd also like to see them make Arceus' Judgement attack learn-able by Mewtwo, and Mewtwo's Psystrike available to Arceus. In many ways, they are considered to be more or less equal, so it would indeed be nice to see them share each other's signature moves.

Isn't Wild Charge good enough? o3o Wild Charge is an Electric Take Down, and I'd feel that if they gave Volt Tackle to more Electric types, the move would be kind of overpowered. I mean, 120 base power for a Pokemon like Luxray's pretty scary.

As for my opinion, I find Psystrike a really good move to be used by Mewtwo. It's stronger by Psychic and it hits the physical defense side of stats, meaning it can cause a lot of damage to otherwise specially defensive Pokemon such as Blissey, while also being able to beat Pokemon that boost their special defense, like Xerneas. I was pretty happy when I saw that Psyshock was pretty much a watered-down Psystrike to be used by more Pokemon, and to this day it remains one of the best Psychic type moves to use.

You're right, but I could imagine them to give this move to weaker electric-types (that is, if they wish), such as Emolga.

Geomancy's animation is simply well-done in X/Y. The vibrant, rainbow colors and how Xerneas exudes its power at the second turn are simply outstanding. Oblivion Wing also comes close, as do Precipice Blades and Origin Wave.

Volt Tackle needs to be breedable for weaker or unloved Pokemon that isn't the Pikachu evolution line. Zekrom would be a monster with it (not breedable obviously) but something that makes use of physical electric moves.

My favourite is Chatter, and is Chatot's signature move :) Decent Flying move and confuses the target, it's a great surprise for online battling as a lot of people aren't familiar with it :)

I also enjoy using Meowth's Pay Day although that's more for fun lol, and there's others I like as well but they're not really exclusive to the Pokémon anymore. However, as they've all been signature moves of these Pokémon since Gen 1 I'll mention them anyway: Sky Attack (Moltres, now other birds have it too), Glare (used to be the Arbok line just) and Spore (the Paras line) :)

I've always really liked Meowth's "Pay Day". Gimme dem extra money.

Lugia's Aero Blast was my personal favorite until Darkrai's Dark Void was introduced. Dark Void's animation is awesome, especially in X/Y.

I like the idea of Pokemon having their own signature moves. This makes each of them unique in their own ways - no single Pokemon is quite like the other. It'll honestly be quite sad if a legendary Pokemon doesn't differ from non-legendary Pokemon in any way except through elevated stats.

I love Ho-oh's Sacred Fire, Mewtwo's Psystrike, Palkia's Spacial Rend and Giratina's Shadow Force. As for non-legendaries, Volcarona's Fiery Dance, Spinda's Teeter Dance and Pikachu's Volt Tackle stand out to me.
