    These should, theoretically, be side by side, no?
     
    Er, it should, but if you are using the WYSIWYG text box, it sometimes doesn't work properly. My advice would be to click on your User Control Panel and from there, Edit Options. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and the second last option should say:

    Message Editor Interface: Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing.

    Change that to Standard Editor - Extra Formatting Controls.

    Now go into Edit Signature, Copy & Paste your signature and save and it should come out properly.

    I could be wrong but that normally works for me.
