Signature Rules should be changed

I think signature rules should be changed >.>

I think that we should add another condition to signatures,

• Signatures must not exceed 350px in height (excluding spoiler-tags).

Those huge signatures are annoying, and I think some people here would agree.

I have seen signatures similar to this (except they make sence lol) and It would be nice if there was a rule like the one I'm suggesting. It just means people have to use spoilers.

I am obliged to agree. 25 lines of senseless text in 2-point font is just too much.

The rules are just generous for the sake of it, I don't think I've ever seen anyone put that many lines in a signature, and no one said you had to either.

Besides, text doesn't hurt anyone.

I agree. Who needs huge sigs? Sigs are really just supposed to be your name and maybe an image or two. Now they are getting completely out-of-hand.

I love the lack of examples being provided in this thread. If they're getting "out of hand", we need examples. Not to mention there's nothing wrong with bigger sigs in the first place. If you have that big of a deal with something so minor, just disable them. >>

Good, because the amount of signatures you see that large are ridiculously rare, honestly. :| I'm expecting a very large amount of these text signatures eccentris, otherwise this complaint is just laughably fastidious.

I disagree that you should have to disable viewing signatures all just for huge text signatures, which still take up an inordinate amount of space, but really signatures that are just out of hand should be reported to someone with signature-editing powers (is it still done with special mods and s-mods+, or was it given back to mods?) and let them use their judgment. They're so rare and they really don't hurt anyone enough to warrant a thread complaining. In any case I would just PM the user asking them nicely to put the text behind a spoiler tag. Problem solved, if they don't either get over it or ask someone with power.
