    Why is Silcoon so darn hard to obtain in Pokemon Pearl?

    I've searched all over Eterna Forest only to find Cascoons, I've evolved a Wurmple only to find that it evolved into Cascoon and now I have caught another Wurmple hoping that this one will evolve in Silcoon.

    In all this uproar, I now have a Dustox that only knows Harden :/ and I have a Cascoon without Harden!!

    I know that I can just trade one over but I'd like to try and obtain as many Pokemon within the game as I can.

    I read on another site that the day/night Wurmple evolutions are just a myth and that it is pre-determined.

    Okay thank you, I will test out another Wurmple now and then if it doesn't evolve into Silcoon I will capture another one and save it for the morning.

    Thank you :) The only problem now is I have no idea what to do with my Cascoons/Dustox, I guess I'll just train them all, keep one and save the rest for trading (:

    Okay sorry, I don't visit the forum very often and I thought that thread was only for breeding questions.
