Eudora threw the rocks until she had captured the monster?s attention.

?Come on!? she called to it forcefully, preparing to get into a fighting stance.

But while she prepared to strike the first blow, a luminous blue glow caught her eye?

The boy was seemingly controlling the water in front of him, thus striking the monster with a strong current like a tidal wave. While a girl struck at the monster with a sword of fire.

Eudora just stood there, watching dumbly.
?Are you two of the ?Five??? she asked curiously, with that power? the water element? he must be. And she... well, fire of course.

Itoko gasped at the sight of the fearsome monster. She had to do something, but she wasnt that strong. But although she had a feeling it wouldnt do much, Itoko lifted her bow and shot an arrow at the monster with a big gust of wind.

OCC~ Sorry for the short post, writers block. @.@

"Whadoya mean, 'One of the Five'? I dont even know who they are!" Akemi yelled, jumping back, to dodge a blow. She took a defensive stance, eyes glowing with fire, ready to move.

While I saw the other people here attack, I took a short pause and replied," Yes! Me and Lady Itoko here are! We're headed towards Unity!"
I had used quite a bit of the water in my container previoulsy and was left with just a small puddle now.
Glowing once more, I brought my arms up, and a giant pillar of ice made it's way towards the Minion.

Unity?? Risa thought as she clapped her hands, grinning. Her 'father' had asked her to go to a place called Unity for some reason, and of course she could not go against his wishes. He said there was something important there, all the more reason for Risa not to defy him.

Remembering that there was a monster, Risa hastily unsheathed her sword and called to them. "Can I help~?" She cried, oddly in a cheery way, being oblivious to the fact that they were caught in a serious matter.

"Yeah, sure, fight!" Akemi called behind her shoulder, jumping once more. She slashed at the Minions stomach, causing it to lose a severe amount of blood. The creature roared with pain, and faced toward her, eyes alight with anger. "Now would be a very good time to help..." She said quietly, not knowing or caring if the newest arrivals heard.

((OOC - Where did the minon come from? o.o; ))

Eudora stood there not knowing what to do... She was skilled in hand to hand combat, but not with a weapon...

Her urge to help caused a nearby plant to grow excessivly, wrapping the monster tighty, making it unable to move.

Wow... Did I do that?

"Got it~!" Risa cried, again her tone cheerful. She really needed to learn how to take things seriously.

Grinning blissfully, Risa stroke the monster, who had just been wrapped up with a plant, with her rapier. She made sure she swing her rapier hard, forcing the creature to slam against a nearby tree.

With assistance like that I doubted the thing would last much longer. I rushed in, swinging directly at the gaping wound in the Minion's stomach. for a second, it looked like the thing had been hit with a steel bar. Then, the top half flew off of the bottom and my greatsword embedded itself deep in the tree trunk.

Three of them are children of the five, that will become very useful I thought in intrest when they're done playing with the little monster i'll meet them later at Unity I drew my dagger from the depths of my cloak and ran off.

Akemi leaned on her sword, a little upset it couldnt have lasted longer. Minions seemed to be getting weaker, in her opinion.

"So, who asked about the Five? Heck, I dont know who they are..." Akemi said, in her usual hot-headed tone.

"You don't" I asked incredulously. I'd grown up hearing the stories, learning of my birthright. The servants seemed to be in awe of my. It was tiring, to be honest, but to have not heard of the Five? I answered he query nonetheless, saying "The Five were the legendary heroes who stopped Youko." I paused, and said with a sardonic smile "Or at least tried. It was a temporary fix, it seems. Anyway, we're the children of the Five."

"I dunno about me..." Akemi said, her face showing pain, as she remembered her past. "I was..... Well, I never knew my family. I dont even know if their alive..."

She faced away from everyone, about to walk off. At least they had families to grow up with... She thought sadly, trying to hold back unshed tears.

"I dunno about me..." the girl said, her face showing pain, as she remembered her past. "I was..... Well, I never knew my family. I dont even know if their alive..."

The brash girl turned around and started to walk away.

She never knew her family? That's so sad... Eudora thought symphathically.

"Wait, how about you come travel with us?" Eudora called after the girl, hoping that she would stay.

Well," I told her," You display all the powers that you would have gotten from Jubei. He was the legendary warrior of Fire, something you seem to be familiar with. As it was asked before, I think you should come with us. The priest there has peculiar abilities that might be able to help you with a few things."

I began to walk off a bit, towards the route once more, and looked back at them all.
" Anyone who's going to Unity should start on the way already. The priest won't wait forever," I said, a slight smile on my face.

"Wait~!" Risa called as she rushed towards the boy who seemed to have powers over water. "Daddy told me that I needed to aid the children of the legendary warriors. Perhaps I could travel with you? I could help! Promise~!" She exclaimed in begging sort of way.

She worried that the fact that she was only ten years old would be a problem for them, and she really needed to do what she was told, or she would feel guilty to no end.

I ripped my sword out of the tree, wiping it clean with a scrap of cloth. Extinguishing the magical charms on it, I resheaathed the massive blade and said "I'll join you, I guess. I suppose I'm supposed to go."

Itoko grabbed her backpack, and ran to catch up with her new found friend Piers. She was still a little shocked from earlier events, but it was nothing she wouldnt get over. But there was something about this little girl...Risa. She sort of reminded Itoko of herself as a child, although they couldnt be related, could they? As far as Itoko knew, she didnt have a little sister.

The wind played restlessly with Itokos hair, as she turned her head away in fright of the little girl catching her staring at her.
"Piers, we best be off..." Itoko said with worry. "The wind is restless, which almost guarentees that there is danger or a storm coming"

"I'd be more concerned about the minds of men" I said casually, catching up to the pair. I'd always been able to sense the emotions of others, and now...Something was coming, something big.

Akemi shrugged, turning around. "Um, okay...." She said, puzzled by their kindness. No one had ever acted this nice to her before. She blinked a few times, and followed.
