Itoko turned and saw the girl from before following the group. She smiled, and held out her hand to her.
"My name is Itoko." Itoko said. "Its good to see that you've decided to accompany us on our little quest. This is going to be so fun~!"

Itoko didnt know what the quest would turn out to be further on in time, but either way it would be an experience of a life time. She couldnt wait to meet new people, and hanging out with her new friends would be even better. Itoko never really had a friend before, and those that she did, are gone now...

Ooc: Are you talkin to me, or someone else? *Confuzzle face*

Ic: Akemi just stared at it. "Maybe it'll be fun. Who really knows?" She said, meeting Itoko's eyes, and tilting her head a bit. "As longas I can get away from here, I'm happy."

OCC~ You. ^^;; *wipes the confused face off Saphi-chans face* x3

IC~ Itoko took her hand away, realising that the girl wasnt going to shake it.
"Well..." Itoko began. "I sure hope its fun."
Itoko looked into the sky. Clouds were blowing in, and the wind was getting more and more restless.
Theres definately something coming.... Itoko thought, dropping her bag on the ground. She looked at her friends.
"We better find shelter..." Itoko said, who was starting to shiver from the cold.

" Well," I said calmly, " I think it's about time we head off no? A storm does seem to be approaching and should we not make it to Unity tonight, it would be best to at least try and reach the nearest town. If I'm right, the closest town would have to be Izumo. So let's head off."

I began walking forth once more, eager to reach Unity, but also knowing we would only reach Izumo. A storm was approaching, and it was nearing us quickly.
We best find some shelter there.

I groaned inwardly as I heard this. I'd been to Izumo before, it was even duller than father's manor. I wanted some action. Bandits, and orc attack, whatever. Something to break the monotony. That Minion hadn't bee fun at all.

Akemi's eyes widened at the thought of the thing she hated most... water... She hurried to get ahead of everyone.

"So, what are we waiting for?" She asked nevously, with a fake smile, "Lets go!" Akemi ran up the next hill, pausing breifly to wait for the others.

"C-cold!" Risa cried, lips trembling.

She ran towards the girl, Itoko, and grabbed her arm, clinging to it. Itoko was the person in the group who seemed to understand the wind as much as she did, so she felt safer with her.

"I'm really sorry about this. But you arm feels really warm." She told Itoko naively, her voice still quivering. She flashed a grin at her and quietly wished that Itoko wouldn't mind that she was clinging to her. There was something with her that made felt relaxed and calm, she has no idea why felt that way, though.

Once again, Itoko picked up her bag, and ran to catch up with Piers. It was freezing outside; this sure was going to be a big storm.
"We should pick up the pace. The storm is approaching quicker now; soon it will begin to rain, and the wind will be strong. I wouldnt be surprised if there was a tornado...." Itoko said. It was natural for her to describe an approaching storm. It was a habit, since she could sense approaching storms as well as see them.

Itoko looked down, and saw Risa clinging to her arm. She smiled happily, and patted the young girl on the head.
"Its alright. We'll be there soon. Just stick close", Itoko said.

"Then let's run" I said with a grin. Somehow, trying to outrace nature seemed amazingly fun at the moment. Wothout waiting for a reply, I took off at a sprint, dragging the sixty or so pounds of steel on me along for the ride.

Well, if I had any water, I could think of a way to help us reach Izumo faster. Although I used the bit I had with the Minion. So I guess it's either walk faster, or slip into a light jog. So long as we reach Izumo by night fall, we should be fine. The rain will be no problem."
I knew, should the rain arrive soon, we'd be better off. Water was my specialty, and I would be able to manipulate it to our advantage.
When I turned though, I had seen he had already ran out as fast as he could.
I took off after him, stopping momentarily to say something to them.
" Come on! Doesn't seem as if he'll wait on us!"

Akemi tailed after the boy, jumping over a fallen log. Thunder roared overhead, urging her to go faster. Oh please dont rain, oh please dont rain... She chanted, moving faster with each step.

Itoko giggled, and grabbed Risa's hand.
"Hope you're up for a little run!" Itoko said, beginning to run after her friends. She tried to go slow for Risa, but being as swift and silent as the wind it was rather difficult. But eventually they were caught up with the others, and Itoko slowed down for Risa's sake.

Just in time, Itoko lifted her head to see the first rain drop fall.
"Hurry! Its beginning to rain!" she called, wiping the rain drop off of her face.

"Ack!" Akemi uttered, jumping as a drop hit her on the back of the neck. She hated, loathed, whatever word could be used for showing a strong dislike, water. It seemed to sting the back of her neck slightly, and Akemi ran past the others, like fire.

This is great!" I yelled.

I felt so at peace in the rain. I was calmer in it than when it was a clear sunny day. I was just free with my thoughts, free from the judgement of the world. It just made me so happy.
Realizing though, how much the water seemed to be something of dislike though, I lifted my hands, and began to glow once more. This time, it was a brighter, lighter blue.
Slowly, a shield of sorts formed around us all. It was just a covering to keep us dry, and it would work and stay in place so long as the water kept falling.
" We're not going to get wet anymore. WE don't even need to run anymore. So long as it keeps raining, I can keep this up and running, keeping us dry and safe. Since it's not perfected yet though, some water will still leak in though. We should make it to Izumo pretty dry though," I said, a smile on my face.

Itoko stared in amazement as the shield began to make its way around the group, and then she simply smiled.
"Wow...good idea, Piers~!" Itoko said, clapping her hands together with pleasure. "I cant wait to reach Izumo! I've never been there before. I've never actually been anywhere besides the village back home, and the place where I used to live before the incident..."
This was why Itoko was so enthusiastic about going on a quest. She had never really been anywhere besides the two villages in which she were familiar with. She was willing to do anything it takes to travel.

Akemi slowed down, sighing with reliefe, waiting for everyone else. "Thank god..." She muttered, rubbing her neck.

Risa's eyes widened in amazement as Piers created a shield. Sure she would have loved to play with the rain, but what he had created was just amazing!

"Cool~! How did you managed to make that?" Risa inquired happily, brimming with energy. Still clinging to Itoko since it was still cold, she used her free arm and poked the shield. It made the silly little grin on her face broader, showing her naivety.

It was actually quite simple. Manipulating water is my specialty," I said, falling to my knees. " However, as you have seen, it makes me quite weak afterwards. Don't worry though. So Long as the rain continues falling, the shield will have power to go on until we no longer need it. It only protects us from the rain though, that's one of the flaws I have yet to work out. So, enough standing around. Let's get going again."

I smiled as I lifted my self up. It took a while, as my knees still felt weak. My body had been drained of energy when I made the shield, and now I could barely hold myself up. It just felt as if I wouldn't even make it to Izumo.

Akemi poked the shield, puzzled by what it was. This water didnt hurt, nor could she feel it. Rain bounced off the shield, but the cold wind still flew through, causing her to shudder.

Itoko smiled down at Risa clinging tightly onto her arm, and tried her best to stay warm. She slowly walked over to Piers, and stood beside him.
"I'll try my hardest to protect us from the tornado, but I have little power over the thunder and lightning", Itoko said, holding onto the strap of her bag which was slung carefully over her back. Her bow and arrows were lying on the ground by her feet, ready to be picked up when the time came to hurry on their way once again.
"Are you sure you're strong enough to continue, Piers?" Itoko asked, her tone filled with immense worry. She hated it when people were sick or weak; especially her friends.
