Simple Destruction

We can't let him go off on his own!" I said, almost in a yell.
I began to glow pale blue once more, my eyes really showing a shine.
" Eudora, I need a favor. Take Risa and run. We will try and hold off the tornado as much as we can. We shall regroup in Unity. Understood?"
Before confirmation,I looked back at them both, hoping they'd listen.
I ran off towards him, my energy slowly returning with each step.

Before Itoko could stop him, Grif had set out towards the tornado.
"No, wait! You dont know what you're dealing with~!" Itoko yelled, escaping from Risa's grasp, and running after him.
Some people are so stupid~! They dont even listen! Itoko thought, shaking her head. Although she thought she maybe doubting Grif's powers, Itoko couldnt help but think he couldnt stop the tornado by himself.

I had a feral grin on my face, lip pulled bak to expose my gleming (and unusually sharp) canines. I could sense the power of the storm after a fashion, or rather a sort of malevolence behind it. The balefire, then. I needed to be closer, though. The lightning dropped from one hand, replaced with the fire, focusing the better forces of the universe into my fists.

In no time at all Itoko had caught up with Grif, and she was running at his side.
"Are you out of your mind!?" she yelled, facing the tornado. "This thing can kill you~! Its nothing to test your powers on!"
Itoko focused on the tornado, and it blew off course slightly. This would take time~

It was taking all of my power, but slowly, a thick wall of ice was forming. It would not hold off the tornado, it would merely slow it down, but it would at least give Eudora and Risa time to find shelter.

Itoko and Grif had yet to notice it, but it was to be expected. I had been forming the wall from the rain water, starting the ice from the bottom up, thickening its layers along the way. If this was to work, the wall would have to be at least a few feet thick. I could already feel the small bit of power I had gathered leave my body though, and I knew I would barely make it.

Eudora nodded knowingly and grabbed Risa's hand. "Come on, let's go!" she said gently to the girl.
May luck be with you guys... she thought hopefully.

But in her heart... she wished that she could help.

"That's the point" I replied, laughing. "Where's the fun in life if you don't almost get killed?" A tree, uprooted by the tornado came sailing in, straight for our heads. Without a second thought, I raised a fist and shot a beam of white fire, looking almost like a bar of molten steel at the tree, splitting it in hald and sending it harmlessly sailing to the other sides of us.

"In my opinion, theres nothing fun about getting your head blown off by a tree~!" Itoko yelled, dodging a rock that was coming right at her. Itoko then stopped. They were moments before the tornado, and at this exact spot, Itoko could calm it down. It drained her energy just standing there looking at it. Itoko drew an arrow and aimed it at the tornado. Right away wind surrounded her. She then shot the arrow. The tornado absorbed it, but it seriously blew of course, and stopped moving for a moment.
At least I am having some progress... Itoko thought, smiling slightly at the thought of destroying the tornado.

They still had yet to notice the wall, or even begin caring about it. With good reason, they had more to be preoccupied with. I was feeling so drained though, it was getting hard to even finish the wall.
If I just shoot in all of my energy, it should finish....I thought.
So I fed all of my energy into the production of the wall. A darker light surrounded the wall and myself, almost blinding me while the wall was finished. When the light faded away, a giant wall of ice had arisen before us, it covered quite a distance across, was very tall, and was incredibly thick. The bad thing was I was completely drained.
At least Eudora and Risa can escape now...I told myself, and then, collapsed. My lack of energy reached a high point, and I was unable to even maintain consciousness.

Itoko stepped back as the ice wall formed in front of them. She looked back, and saw Piers on the ground. She ran over to him, and bent down beside him.
He must of drained all of his energy creating this wall....Itoko thought.
"Piers, are you alright!?" she asked, and the rain began to pour down. This wasnt a good sign. With Piers weak, a giant tornado, and a giant storm beginning to brew, the group couldnt possibly win. Itoko looked back and saw Eudora and Risa running. At least they were safe.
We can do this...Itoko thought. We just have to have faith...

ooc: Where are we? I had to go out to eat with my family yesterday, and I'm too lazy to look back, XD

"No!" Risa cried, facing where Itoko, Piers, and Grif rushed off. "I want to help them. I don't want them to get hurt!"

Risa bit her lip and forced herself not to cry. Because if she did, that would mean that she had doubted their powers. She became quickly attached to the group, especially Itoko, and would risk anything to help them.

She released her hand from Eudora's gentle grip, and ran after them. Of course she would get scolded but she didn't care. "I won't go!" She yelled as she neared them.

Akemi stod there, staring intently at the sky. Lightning flashed all around her, and thunder rolled through the clouds. Suddently, nearby Akemi, lightning hit the ground.

Akemi's eyes widened, as she set off where the electricity had hit the ground. "Everyone, go!" She yelled, disappearing into the bushes. She could control the fire long enough for them to get away.... hopefully...

Itoko looked up and saw Risa running towards them.
"I wont go!" the young girl cried.
Itoko stood up, and looked around her. There was now a fire blazing around the area. She would have to be extra cautous with the wind so it wouldnt spread.
"Risa, listen~! Its too dangerous. Please go with Eudora!" she said, bending down infront of the girl and speaking gently. "I understand you want to help, but its too dangerous. You must find shelter~!"

Please, pleeeeeeeease work... Akemi pleaded in her mind, dashing through the forest. She found the spot where the fire had first started and stood there, with her palms facing it.

They began glowing bright red, as the fire sunk back, to this one area, now surrounding her. Akemi could feel the intense heat, but ignored it. Her hands changed from bright red to orange, as she was now mentaly commanding the fire to stay in one place. It fought to gain control, trying to swallow her, and spread.

No..... You can't hurt them.... I wont.... let you! She screamed in her mind, not caring if anyone heard. The fire came closer, inching its way toward her. It engulfed Akemi completely.

I woke up, still feeling as weak as before. I tried lifting myself up, but wasn't able to. I merely collapsed onto my knees, clutching my head. A new pain was finiding its way to me, and it was as if someone was inside my mind, screaming their lungs out.
I was able to quiet it down, and focus on the task at hand. The tornado was not our only problem anymore. Fires and lightning had started, and even Risa had joined us.
" Where's Eudora!?" I questioned.

Eudora ran after Risa, worring for the young girl's safety. "Risa, listen~! Its too dangerous. Please go with Eudora!" she said, bending down infront of the girl and speaking gently. "I understand you want to help, but its too dangerous. You must find shelter~!" she heard Itoko speaking softly to Risa.

Eudora smiled softly, inspite of the danger. It was really touching to see such a strong connection between those two.

"Everyone, go!" she heard Akemi yell, before being engulfed by the fire. The most Eudora could do was stare in horror. Her plants were useless....

No...I... can't let them.... die.... Akemi thought. She had grown quite fond of these people, and did want anything to happen to them. The flames jumped up an down her body, but Akemi couldnt feel anything anymore. Nothing but the urge to protect her.... friends.

The fire was attracked to Akemi, and fromed a sphere around her. At leats their safe... She thought, trying to keep the fire under control. If she didnt all was lost.

Ooc: I wonder what would happen if the tornado hit... O.o'

Seeing that Piers was awake, Itoko walked over to him.
"She's here..." Itoko said, once again bending down beside him. "Are you alright!?"
Itoko felt like she was going to cry. Everything was going horrible, her first ever friend was hurt, and there was possibly no way to stop the giant storm that was growing bigger and bigger as they spoke. Finally she let a tear fall down her cheek. The wall was holding fine, but it wouldnt stay like that for long with the fire now beginning to surround them.
