So your sure birck break wont kill a blissy with his attk being at 160 stat or maxed at level 100 it is 460 atk, Maybe i fought a bad blissy with my weevile but he took it down to 30% in one hit and its jolly and his atk base is much lower. Im afriad to use hammer armr cuss itll lower my speed, his speed is one of his big features allowing him to go first over most pokemon, so if i kill something and survive for one turn i can go again, but if his speed is lowerd i could die.

Do you think i should even use slaking as a counter to people that use blissy ? What im afraid off like i said is that pokemon, i fought people with Infernape's and TBH they werent a problem in my ice team cuss my starmie forces them switch out or face destruction.

Like i said Id be replacing one of my walls duskinor, all i would have is walrein but then from what iv seen the stallrein is king with protect,toxic,sub so i dont think i need 2 walls


Do you have a blissy i can test my slaking with brickbreak on?

Yeah, i have about 60 blisseys lol, but you wont need to test it, i used a damage calculator and Brick Break does just over half ._.. hammer Arm is your alternative, which will ohko with a choice band.


If your that concerned with Blissey, use a Fighting Poke, Infernape, Machamp, ETC all rip it a new one.



Regardless, you NEED 2, maybe even 3 walls this gen

Ya i tried it like 2 hours ago, I'll get someone else, i forgot about move type's doing double the dmg for the same type of the pkm and i checked the calc also, i dont know why my jolly weevile did so much dmg to the blissy tho it musta been a bad blissy i guess.

I wonder how much giga impact will do tho :P haha rape 628-739.


Altho i did a choiceband slacking with brick break it will do like 572-673 dmg, Im pretty sure i put all the information in right, what is the atk stage and defense stage for on that link ?

Try breeding the last one, with one of the others that have better speed.
 
This might not be competitive, but how low or high can a stat become through moves? Like how Metapod always ends up using Harden around ten times before it says "It's defence can't go any higher!" Is the max stats possible an attack 999, or is it the Max+ (max stat possible with a benefiting nature)?

It's not really that important, however I'm just curious after finding out that status boosts/decreases have that regular boosts equal half of your stat added on top of it and sharply raised ones have double your stat added on top of it.
 
The max stat possible is 999 in anything, but I'm pretty sure it's impossible to achieve in any stat.

Anyway, you can only raise or lower a stat six times before you can't raise it any higher. Of course, moves like Nasty Plot that raise a stat two levels can only be used three times.
 
Wait, are you serious? So if I have a Lucario with 100 Attack, and he uses Swords Dance once, his Attack becomes 300?
 
Oh, okay. I remember when I used to think that stat raising moves sucked...

I guess I didn't think that they raised a stat that much, though.
 
Not really, they're all pretty poor in this respect. Some have good defences, but they are let down by bad HP and lack of recovery moves. They can function well as bulky pokemon, but not as full blown walls. Who did you have in mind, out of curiosity
 
Well, to back Gofre up, Haryama is a very bulky fighter, but not a wall.
 
Oh, and Hitmontop has acess to Rapid Spin & Bulk Up. He is the most defensive of the "Hitmons".
 
That he is, my friend uses a very effective set on shoddy
