why grass knot why not energy ball that would seem to work better

Grass Knot does more to heavy stuff which happen to be its main counters T-Tar, Gyarados, Rhyperior, Milotic etc.

Energy Ball only helps more against Vaporeon and Weavile really

Dusknoir,Cresselia, Claydol, Bronzong, Suicune, umbreon are great mixed walls.

Skarmory, Gliscor, Hippowdon, Weezing, Donphan, Forretress, uxie, Tangrowth, Slowbro, Drapion, are all good phys walls/tanks.


Sp.Walls are Blissey, Regice, Snoralax, Tentacruel, Articuno,hypno, Dusknoir, Cradlly (In sandstorms), Empoleon etc are all great sp.walls/tanks.

There are alot more. I just mentioned most of the main ones.

i'm not sure with what teams should have ect.
but i like the look of that
any recommendations with EV's or something?

If it's too much say so

Umbreon, T-Tar, Snorlax, Weavile die to fighting attacks and Cresselia and Dragonite die to Bug and Rock attacks respectively, Which means Heracross hurts you pretty bad.

Try using something different toat does the same job, but doesn't add to weaknesses, as in different types.

Also you dont have a special sweeper.

Ive never battled anyone yet with a rhyperior or tyranatar.......

Well they are oh so common, Choice Band Pursuit and Crunch from T-Tar is what i fear, aswell as Choice Band Megahorn from Rhyperior. Rhyperior may not be too common, but Tyranitar is, especially on shoddy battle.

Grass Knot deals more to those and does around 40% to Gyarados, who would wall me with Energy Ball.

I cant choose between pain split and explosion, though i am leaning towards pain split. what should i go with?

His Sp.Def is from another wall so he can take out the most of the Special sweepers and also can hold of some physical ataks cause his def is also high

Hi all, i was wondering if pory-z needs timid to function as a sweeper. It has almost maxed speed on a nuetral nature (274) But that doesnt look fast enough, and i dont wanna specs it.

By "neutral nature" Hopefully you're saying Modest or something close; specify the nature.

Pory-Z is slower than other sweepers, as you can see. The base is only 90, compared to Gengar, which is 110. However, I've seen Modest Pory-Z in action as it does major damage to tanks (not sponges) because it's swift enough to dish out a lot of damage.

Well, Air Slash and Aura Sphere are pretty much necessities for that. Flamethrower is always fun, and the last move can be anything from Psychic, Shadow Ball, Ancientpower (doubt it though unless you're running Serene Hax), There's just a big list you can pick from.

Edit: I just checked, and if Swampert is on your list to desperately kill, go Grass Knot.
