is adamant garchomp ok with fire blast or will it need lonely and evs in SAtk

Lonely / Naive is always perferred. I'd get Naive, unless you have IVs you can't afford to lose.

To answer Justin T's Rampardos question, I'll answer with a question of my own; The set is good but is it Adamant or Jolly?

No Adamant and Jolly are ok, dont cut its defenses, i know - 10% in a stat doesnt seem like much, but it hampers its switching in ability.

With Adamant and Jolly Fire Blast still 2hko's Skarmory and ohkos forry and scizor which is the same as Lonely does, so your not gaining anything with Lonely or Naive apart from cutting its good defenses pointlessly.

I don't think so. But if you're looking to boost it's defences, there's always Stockpile. That increases both Defences too ;)

protect = no theres no point in it.

I guess it's fine but not that good imo, it would be better to use spikes/rapid spin/explosion/ice beam or surf since it's more useful. Cloyster is not going to be hitting too many things anyways.

How does Protect work with toxic spikes :/, skill link is fine but still not good enough to waste cloyster on that, again try using the more utility set.

They switch in something while you lay down toxispikes

They aren't poisoned right away, and they're not going to blindly sit there and let you stall them to death, they're going to switch out.
