Would this set work for Aerodactyl?
Stone Edge/Rock Slide

It actually looks pretty good, despite not being able to counter electric types. I think it's pretty good. I have a question of my own. Is rhydon useful in 3rd gen?
He did? Dang, I didn't know that. Well regardless, life rolls on. Is aggron any good either with that 4x weakness to fighting and ground?
I used the following teamset and moves for my Emerald game (before it got deleted...) I managed to get through the whole game, plus a bit more, but i was wondering wether they could be improved or not. I can't remember any of their natures, and i'm not really interested in that aspect so don't ask me for them:
Golem@Leftovers
Adamant Nature
EVs: 252 Attack, 132 HP, 126 Defense
Earthquake
Rock Slide
Toxic
Explosion
I'm no golem expert though. If you can't get him, don't use graveler. Honestly, there are WAY better pokemon that can do his job. I recommend roar as well.
Gyarados@Leftovers
Adamant Nature
EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 6 HP
Dragon Dance
Taunt
Earthquake
Return/HP Flying
This thing needs work. Gyrados can't use even a STABed hydro pump well, so use physical attacks. Tauntrados works very well competitively. Not sure on the EVs.
Blaziken@Leftovers/White Herb
Jolly Nature
EVs: 252 Speed, 200 Attack, 58 Special Attack
Brick Break
Overheat
PeckNO! Peck? Try Rock Slide
Eathquake/Aerial Ace
Needs work. Lots of work when you have peck. You can always use the mixed sweeper set if you have access to thunderpunch in emerald. Blaziken really isn't that good IMO, but is usable.
Gardevoir@Leftovers
Timid/Modest Nature
EVs: 252 Speed, 150 HP, 108 Defense
Calm Mind
Psychic
Thunderbolt
WilloWisp/Hypnosis
When using a synchroniser does it have to be at the front of your party to have effect on the wild pokemon?
They simply halve the damage from their respective types of attacks. If you switch, the effect still stays. It's different from normal stat boosts in the way that critical hits don't ignore the defense boost.Cool new avatar Itachi! Hey, I was wondering, Is how much do reflect and light screen raise defense? It says it halves it, but is it the same effect when you switch out for another pokemon?
