Simple Question

From my past knowledge, you cannot but I may be mistaken or there is a sly way of going around it of which I am unsure...

Oh yeah you might need one actually, it really depends on the formatting, I know there was a glitch to be able to do it, but I forgot...

It should work as the Wii is region-free and if Colosseum is a GCN disk (I saw a N64 chip for Colloseum, was kicked out when I said it is fake... like the rest of the things)

No, the console systems are not region-free. They are region-locked, which means that you will need an extra device to play a NTSC game on a European system.

Oh, wait. It's GCN, right? Then, no. Plus, I played a NTSC Wii game on my PAL Wii and vice-versa.

My wii is jap and I can't play PAL games (although strangely I can play american games probably because my uncle bought it for me and he probably got it chipped or something). From what I know it's region-locked. I trieed playing an American game on another friends wii. Didn't work

I believe it doesn't matter what country. We can play Platinum on American DS', right?

PAL games are, in fact, US disks. Wii, I guess, is locked, but the DS is region-free, luckily.

The USA disks are locked to be a PAL region disk. That's with my Wii disks and about 15% of my DVDs.
