You can get Game Shark and Action Replay at almost any Game Stop or game-related store in your area.

You can look up any Pokemon in the Pokedex at www.serebii.net and find a list of their Egg Moves, for the future, so shanecdavis doesn't have to work so hard... XD

How do I beat Norman in Emerald?
I have the following:
L. 21 Sableye (w. Fakeout & Fury Swipes, only moves that can hit Normals)
L. 26 Hariyama
L. 29 Grovyle
L. 27 Azumarill (w/ Rollout/Defense Curl combo)
L. 23 Machop
L. 21 Geodude (w/ Self Destruct)
 
Where is yer starter pokemon? Do not use Azumarill, it'll get fried. I'd use geodude, if i had that team. But, you need to work on that team a lot.
 
Grovyle's the starter. He has Leaf Blade, Pursuit, Quick Attack & Screech.
 
is there a move tutor for substitute on r/s/e?

and where can i get leftovers? i think it's in the battle tower, but i've beat lvl 50 mode over and over but i only get stat raising items.

finally, is shell bell the same thing as leftovers except that u have to attack in order to get some HP?

there is a little girl in rustboro city that her father says that she never smyle and you must tell her a word to make her smiley... so... whats the word you must tell her?and what do i get with it?


if when you battle with the pokemon tha is in prof birch's bag on the beggining of the game,if it doesn't appears as shiny, when you get it, it will be always on the same color or there is still the probability of it beeing a shiny?or i must restart and keep choosing it on the battle till it appears as shiny?
 
The Girl in Rustboro City is Walda....enter a code from here and you will get a new wallpaper design.

There's a probability that the Pokemon will be shiny. However it's a very rare chance it will happen.

You will find the Substitute Move Tutor on the top floor of the Department Store in Lilycove.

You will find Leftovers in one of the trash cans in the S.S. Tidal. It is the one in the upper left corner, I believe.

Yes, Shell Bell is similar to Leftovers. It increases your HP in relation to how much damage you inflicted on your opponent. It has no consistency and is nowhere near as reliable as Leftovers, but it is good to have if you are in a battle that limits your held items to one copy.
 
Can anybody explain to me how to get the Gameshark and codebreaker codes to work for Pokemon Emerald? I have the US version and am using the VBA 1.7.2.
I have browsed through the Codes thread and entered many different ones but nothing seems to happen, example when i try a warp code, I always include the master code although im not quite sure what it does. I have seen things such as R+A+Select while EXP is gained, ect but im not sure what this means.
Are there special steps to go through to get the codes to work? Any help would be greatly appreciated <3
 
If I traded my Female Flareon from [pokemon] XD, and got a male Plusle/Minun, could I somhow do a breeding chain to get an Eevee with Baton Pass? If so, can you post it?

you told me to get in the site...I play on GBA not on VBA(i dont know if that cares...)... and the site is never entering...the things on the site doesnt appear... just tell me the words please!!!!!!! ....

...so the inicial will never appear as shiny during the battle with the poochyena???it will appear as shiny only after you get it???


(just because i wanna say it...)...I CAPTURED LATIAS YESTERDAY WITH A SINGLE AND SIMPLE POKEBALL(yes,the basic one,red in the up side and white at the down side...)

After you deliver the letter to Steven, have Mr. Briney take you back to Petalburg and visit the President of Devon Corp. He will give you Exp. Share as a reward.
