shanecdavis, SRing is stands for "soft resetting" which is the ever so tedious process of pressing A+B+Start+Select to reset your game(not the whole thing, it is like turning it oun and off). Usually, u save in front of a pokemon B4 you do it, so that u can get it with a good nature, or if u want it to be shiny.

Oh, okay. I was trying to think of a Pokemon move or item or strategy instead of a game function. Thanks for clearing that up.

id like to know the location of all the rare candys in emerald.(im training my trapinch to be flygon, and am boosting by rare candys)

hm...I don't actually remember the locations of any rare candies in emerald sorry but I kinda have a suggestion.

I recommend raising a team of Linoone to levels 70+
they tend to pick up rare candies fairly often at those levels the higher
the more frequent it is u'll pick candies up.

when i'm level training my pokemon I just train the 1 and carry a team of
5 Lv.70+ Linoone's and I've gotten over 200 rare candies that way.
I don't really use 'em though 'cuz I like to train but I do use 'em to see
if my pokemon has good genes or not when I hatch it. (SOO USEFUL)
but yeah that's the best way I know to get rare candies..

ooh yeah I remember some now

on route 112 you need surf to the little island.
at the trick masters house (he gives you one 1st or 2nd time can't remember)
in lilycove on the beach near the team aqua hide out one of the rocks
is hiding one.

um..that's all the ones that I remember hope I helped.

for emerald it is at the most only 10% rare candies...(if you pick them up)...some 1 posted a thread if u want to look...very informative...

Cud ne1 tell me how you mix records? I want to mix records but dont know how :P do you need colessium or XD for that cause i dun hav dem

i also need to know where exactly in emerald is the enterance to the part of the safari zone with johto pokemon?i oh so want a houndour!

You need to have beaten the Elite Four and get the National Dex. There is an extra section to the Safari Zone added after this. From the entrance, head straight up until you can go right, then carry on through to find a new area with a decent selection of Johto Pokemon.

thanks, ive beaten the elite four and gotten the natonal dex ^_^ it was begining to make me a litle mad lol XD

This is more of a favor than a simple question... anyway. Would someone tell me what to give to the lady at Lilycove Pokemon Center? I've heard that she'll give you two of the rarest berries in the game. Thank you.

As it was said before, the best way to get Rare Candies is to have a Pickup team of Linoone, but more on that later. Here are the locations of all the Rare Candy in Emerald:

- Granite Cave: east of the slope, through the cracked floor
- Desert Ruins: rock next to Picknicker Becky
- Route 110: open spot where you can Surf to the island
- Magma Hideout: past the Grunt you battle after the four team battles
- Route 127: near team battle with Bird Keeper Aidan and Cooltrainer Athena
- Route 114: up the waterfall
- Route 119: up the waterfall and across the white bars (requires Acro Bike)
- Trick House: complete Trick 1
- Shoal Cave: after you get the third Shoal Shell, Surf and go down and the up the steps and to your left
- Safari Zone: light-colored grass in section 6 (where you find Houndour/Miltank)

As you can see, they are slim pickin's. Now, what I do with incredible success is have a team of 6 Linoone, and then go to Route 101 and battle the wild Pokes there. Every few battles, check your Linoone and some of them should be holding items. I posted a list of the items the Linoone will get before, but I will post it again. Remember, in Emerald the items the Linoone pick up (or other Pokes that have the Pickup Ability) depend on their level. Here you go:

In order to mix records, you must have two GBA and two carts of either Ruby, Sapphire, or Emerald. That is the only way to do it.

Okay, the only way to get the extremely rare Watmel and Durin berries to for you to mix records with someone who also has the Quiz Lady. Now, the one stipulation is that your friend CANNOT set up a quiz with her, or all you will get is the item your friend gave her as the prize. If you don't set up a quiz with the quiz lady, she will make up her own, and occasionally she will reward with the aforementioned berry. It isn't common though, so you will have to mix records often. Good luck. Unfortunately for me, my game has no Quiz Lady.

Thank you for the information. I had mistaken that you can also get some rare berries from the Item Lady. My game has got the Item Lady but because the version I'm playing is in Japanese, that's why I have no idea what item(s) should I give to her for whatever prize she's going to give me when I give her the right item.

Is their an easy way to catch feebas. ive looked a few times in the river but i didn't find anything. Do u just have to be persistant
Yes. You need to fish on every single tile at least 5 times to make sure Feebas is not there. Basically you put a high level faster sleeper (Breloom) in your first slot and then fish. If you hook something that isn't Feebas, run away. If you get one, immediately put it to sleep (Spore is 100% accurate) and then switch to a lower level Poke (or one that knows False Swipe) and wear its HP down and then catch it.

I meant how do you do that is it in the record corner of the LINK CABLE THING
If this is directed towards your previous comment, then yes. Every Pokemon Center has a second level where you can link with other carts. In RS it is the furthest one to the right. In Emerald, it is also the furthest to the right, but you choose between trading, battling, and mixing.

when or how does shelgon evolve into salemence

This is the wrong Simple Questions thread to ask that. If you have a question for the Console Pokemon games there's a Simple questions thread there.

Anyway, does anyone know why I can't trade Deoxys over from Ruby to LG or Emerald. whenever I try a message says "this Pokemon can't be traded." Does this also apply to Mew? Is there any way to get over this problem?
