did you ever find anything other than zubat in there? i still haven't and i want a stinkin houndour! now! oh, and what level is raikou at?

All of the legendaries are level 50 and I did not play my game much so I am up to Sabrina.I only have 5 badges.

oh ok, well just so you know, nothing exists in there except zubat! there must be something i haven't done. even though i have done pretty much everything as far as quests are concerned, i beat the second elite four (60's and 70's) maybe 30 times. does anybody know if there is something you have to do in order to unlock the other guys?

If you check the link I gave you.You need to have a Mystery Gift Link.

i don't know if anybody has said this before, but murkrow is supposedly located in lost cave, but i could never find him until i went to one specific room that took a long time to find. then i found 3 of them in 10 encounters. i went right up down down right left down left. the room has a rare candy in it. i ran arond in that room and it was easy as pie to find them. this may be pure coincidence, but it worked for me. and bring a few ultra balls, he took very low life, paralysis, and 6 to catch :)

There are only few Murkrow there. So I guess it's at certain areas.

i have all of the prerequisites for getting raikou, is he located in any particular spot in kanto? do i have to run around everywhere in the whole map and try to find him? let me know

I read somewhere that when you ,fly,go to another route,go to another map,etc
the legendary dog goes to another route and stays there untill you go to another map again.

It said to catch it easily get a bunch of super reples, a pokemon lv 50 or less
(EG : lv 45 ) and go to a rpute that can link directly to another route ( like route 14 and 15 )
go to one fo thoes routes use your super reple put that lv 50 or less pokemon in first slot- then look in that grass untill the reple runs out, then go to the next route and do the same thing

And if Im right raikou should move to the next route and will eventaly reach your route that your on. :D :D :D :D :D :D :rambo: :rambo: :rambo: :rambo: :rambo:
But it might not work sometimes.

shouldn't i just get a cleanse tag and run around in route 14 for awhile with a level 45? works the same as super repel

can i go back and forth from route 14-15-14-15-14-15 etc... or do i have to find new ones that connect

yeah 14-15-14-15......

there might be a problen sometimes:
if your on route 15 and raikou's on 14 and you move to route 14, he'll move to route 15
so watch out for that

I tried it on crystal and I caught raikou the next battle entae (me spell bad :p )

Okay, there were some questions about the Altering Cave, so I'm going to try to clear that up. You can only get one pokemon at a time in the altering cave, the default is Zubat. You can search all you like, but the only pokemon you will find is zubat. Until you connect to a device which will download data into your game (I think the only ones so far were at official nintendo events), and when you connect to it, it randomly changes the pokemon you find in the altering cave to another pokemon. You may get Houndour, Mareep, Smeargle, or any of the other pokemon on the list. All of these pokemon can be caught in both Coloseum and Emerald, so even if you don't find a place to change the altering cave, you still have a chance at getting those rare pokemon.

You'd find them in the new areas of the Safari Zone that open up after you beat the Elite Four. Pretty good, no?
