Ruby, Saphire, and Emerald are the only places you can get the Light Ball, and it's only by chance. Lucky Egg is supposed to be rare in FireRed and LeafGreen, but since XD came out, it's not so anymore... (the Shadow Chancey in the game always has the Lucky Egg eqquiped!) Same case with Marowak's Thick Club, I think.

Man, Light Ball can cause Pikachu's Sp. Attack to be even higher than Mewtwos'! (Either Mewtwo or Deoxyx: Attack Forme has the highest Sp. Attack thus far) I can't wait to get a Pichu with Surf!

=P I know dude, I've got two ... so I'll just be tradin' one off for some cool Pokemon now. Anyways, lets get back to topic with someone asking us a question.
 
Lesse, Pokemon Box does the same thing as your regular PC Storage Boxes, so if your Pichu has surf I think it won't lose it.

..if that was what you meant, I really didn't get your question. =P

so is this aying the only way to teach pichu surf is to trade to box and teach it in there?

Can you even make Pokemon HOLD HMs to tranfer it into Box? Maybe it means you'll need a Pichu traded FROM Box that will be able to learn Surf.

Or.. it can be that you'll need the egg of a Pichu with the Surf move egged into it as HM and THEN the egg is put in Box, and traded back. Thus, putting a Surf on your Pichu.

Pichu with Surf is one of the special Pokemon you get from using Pokemon Box. When you first start the game, you'll get a Zigzagoon with Extremespeed, and you get a few others as you deposit Pokemon.

Once you've deposited 1,499 Pokemon, the game will reward you with a Pichu that has Surf.
 
Oh, so you get special Pokemon as you keep catching more Pokemon and storin' them ai? That's hard. May I ask if 1,500 Pokemon can be like same, or do we have to put in 1,500 different kinds of Pokemon?

It has to be 1,500 same Pokemon, 'cause there ain't any more than 400 Pokemon in total. XD
 
Oh, any combination of 1,499 Pok?mon in Pok?mon BOX will do. Heck, why not put all of your Pichu eggs in there just to find the perfect one to breed with your new Pichu later on? (if you didn't already guess, the 1,500th slot is reserved for the Pichu with Surf)

Wonder how long it takes to get that many eggs...
 
Around a year. Better to just grab 1500 random Pokemon, wastin' Pokeball on Wurmples or Pidgeys or somethin'. Then fill up the Box with them. Instant um... Pichufication. ^__^

if he used roar do not save the game......
turn it off and try again
roar makes it run away for good

Huh? I thought no matter what, you'd get Raikou (or any of the other Legenadary Beasts) in the Pok?dex for the first time you see it. I got Suicune on my Pok?dex in FireRed the first time I saw it. Of course, it ran away, even though it was asleep. (wierd, huh?) I eventually caught it somehow. I don't remember the details.

Still, shouldn't it have been recorded, even if it roared?

Oh yeah. Mew is supposed to be found only in Emerald, Supreme Edgeboy Max. However, the event that's supposed to give away Mew hasn't even been announced yet, so the only way to get Mew is by AR or GameShark as of thus far.
