Anyways..

I ran through all the routes to get to Pastoria. I went into the Great Marsh and all that fun stuff. I caught a Wooper, Bibarel, and Tropius on the first trip. Then I went back in to catch the Pokemon I went there to get. I ended up catching a male LvL27 Tangela. I am training it now. It is at LvL29. I am on the route below the bicycle path. Below, not under. I am battling the trainers. I am going to go through where Gabites are and get Earthquake if it is still there. Just to train. Yay training!
 
In Pokemon Platinum I just got my fifth gym badge from Wake, and stopped the grunt. I'm currently grinding around the Pokemon Mansion.
 
Started on the 22nd with chimchar, am now in eterna city, trying to get a female combee from a honey tree. I might just borrow someone elses DS and breed one in pearl, then trade it over. >.>

Since I'm having trouble with beating Maylene, I'm currently training my Pokemon. The current Pokemon team I have is Gastly, Wartortle, Luxio, Ponyta, Grotle, and Staravia.
 
I got Platinum about 3 hours ago. I recently arrived in Jubilife City and delivered the Parcel to Nick (my rival). I've been trying something that I haven't done in previous games. What I'm trying to do is capture all the Pokémon in the area and train them to be 2 Levels above the wild Pokémon found in that area.

Example:
On Route 201, the highest Lv. a wild Pokémon has is 3, so I train all the Pokémon on my team to be at Lv. 5 or higher.

So far, I have seen 6 Pokémon and have captured 4.

Seen Pokémon:

  • Turtwig
  • Chimchar
  • Starly
  • Bidoof
  • Shinx
  • Burmy
Captured Pokémon:

  • Lv. 9 Turtwig
  • Lv. 7 Starly
  • Lv. 7 Bidoof
  • Lv. 3 Shinx (just caught)
Another thing I'm planning on doing is earning $60 for a new DS. Then I will beat the Pokémon League on Diamond and transfer all my Pokémon on Diamond over to Platinum.
 
I went ahead and picked it up about four hours ago. I got about a half hour in before falling asleep. (Which I attribute more to the fact I got two hours sleep last night than the game being so boring it actually put me to sleep)

Anyway, I just got into Route 202 and received the Poké Balls from Dawn. Got me a level six Chimchar, but now that I can get Houndour in-game, I may go back and get get a Piplup.

A few hours later, I'm just starting the route above Jubilife. I've got a level 14 Monferno, lv. 13 Onix, lv. 9 Shinx, lv. 12 Machop, and lv. 7 Geodude. I only plan on keeping the first two in the long run though. Beat Roark about an hour ago.

well i am standing in front of Giratina kicking myself because i came here without my Clefairy or any kind of status attacks. at present im trying to frz/par with blizz/thun but it is a pain. only 6 dusk ball, im just about to toss my master so i can continue.

I just got a chain of 35 Voltorb ( Highest chain i've achieved) only for it to break by the annoying Mesprit. Any other time would have been great but in the middle of a chain. annoying.
 
i'm currenly in canalave and trying to train my team (mono bug) to lv. 40-45 so i can beat byron (i think he would be easy if steel wouldnt resist toxic), but there seems to be no good place to train bugs in sinnoh. everywhere are staravias, ponytas, chatots and gravelers with type advantage and gastrodons, floatzels and other stuff like that without type advantages, but they're equally annoying. nowhere are psychic, dark or grass pokemons >_>

I received a Pokétch in Jubilife City and defeated Nick (my rival) on Route 203. I am now on my way to Oreburgh City to have my first Gym battle. I recently caught an Abra at Lv. 4 and am trying to raise it to Lv. 10 by switching Pokémon in the middle of battle. I am trying to raise the rest of the Pokémon in my team to Lv. 10 as well.
 
Since my last post on here, currently I'm still training to defeat Maylene. The current Pokemon I have with are Grotle, Haunter, Ponyta, Luxio, Wartortle, and Staravia.
 
To make a long story short (XD), Totodile swept Roark effortlessly, Monferno just killed Gardenia. After picking up the Togepi egg, catching a Gligar, and nabbing Eevee in Hearthome, I got all my Pokemon to level 30 before sweeping Fantina with Eevee's Bite attack and Feraligatr's Crunch. After making my way through the ruins to get Defog, I got myself to Veilstone, where Eevee evolved into an Espeon...after I won my gym battle (Typical...). I have now trudged my butt to Pastoria, cleared the Lakefront Cafe, got a Yanma, Croagunk, and Tangela in the Great Marsh, and Im abut to enter Wake's gym

My weavile won me FIRST prize in diamond. No master ball (which angered me) and i got a max revive instead :(
 
Wow, I've never knew that my level 27 Luxio could do it but he finally defeated Maylene's Lucario for me and now I'm so relieved that I can go on with this game. The current pokemon team I have is Haunter(really want it to be Gengar), Ponyta, Wartortle, Luxio, Grotle, and Staravia.
 
I am playing Platinum and I have just gone back to The Old Chateau in Eterna Forest and just seen Gardenia standing outside and she said soemthing cool along the lines of "Theres rumours going around about the ghosts" so it looks like we wrote some of the script, now I am investigating.
 
Well, I just went through Wayward Cave. The Gible part. I caught a Gible, which took forever. I got Earthquake, a Rare Candy, and a Dusk Stone that was hidden and I accidentally found. I evolved Tangela while battling trainers I skipped. I am now training my Prinplup. I may be wrong, but in D/P didn't you have to level up Tangela (or other pokemon that level up with a move) after learning the certain move? In Platinum, it evolves right when it learns the move. Instead of after you level up with the move. Hm..

Edit: So, I am the Solaceon Ruins now. Just training and getting to the items. Oh, and to see an Unoun. The Gible I caught was holding a Haban Berry. I ran into a Chansey and it was holding an Oval Stone. :]
