Background on Sinto and Hoeto (pronounced Ho-ay-toe):
Sinto is especially known for a few things. The most common thing is their fierce personalities. They will not give up in a fight, and they believe that backing down and admitting defeat is not honorable...it is a weakness. Killing your emotions is something that might be considered valued in Sinto, though there are some in the nation who disagree. Sinto is an almost brutal nation, and will stop and nothing to reach the top of the ladder. Their leader is Master Jin, someone worth reckoning. He rules Sinto with an iron fist, his famed Umbreon at his side.
Hoeto is more of a kinder natured nation. They do their tasks not because of greed, but because they want to help. Yes, the money is important but it is not overly so. Hoeto people can be laid back, but are very serious about fighting. They will stand and protect their village as one, no matter how many enemies are left. Their leader is Master Kanaka, and he is a kinder spirit. Though he may be kind, he can still be a force that you should fear. He rules Hoeto with an almost neutral nature, just making sure it stays in check. He keeps his Arcanine handy and by his side at all times.
Ever since everyone can remember how long, these two regions have been fighting in an almost eternal duel for complete power over the other region. They are the two main powers, while about six or seven small countries reside within the continent as well. They are locked in this battle so they either one of the regions could be the ultimate superpower. Each region knows the the one with the most power will be able to control everything. No one knows exactly why the two regions began to quarrel so long ago, but it sure lasted. When the first Pokémon was discovered, the regions found that they could use the Pokémon for their own personal greed.
Then soon Sinto and Hoeto found a new way to fight and make war. They trained not just people, but now Pokémon. They harnessed the Pokémon's power and used it in the many existing wars and battles. This caused great destruction upon the land. It nearly brought about the end of Pokemon because the two faught so much. Finally there was such a war that it seemed inevitable that no one would survive. Before something terrible could happen, however, it was interrupted by the great God, Arceus. The two regions began to settle, but only in terms of not warring and battling as often. They eventually established a village for each region, creating the Village of Sinto and the Village of Hoeto.
After what seems like ages, the wars have quieted down some. Though Arceus stopped the greatest war of all time, the two regions still despise each other and the members of the country fight often. Also, the two regions still use Pokémon for their trained ninjas, but mostly the ninjas are now used for special tasks. These tasks are called Jobs, Trials, or Missions. They vary in how difficult the task. With a task, your experience with your Pokemon will grow. Now it is graduation time once more. With the newest batch of students is in for both regions, and that is exactly where you come in.
The Trainers:
In this new era, something remarkable has happened. It has been exactly 100 years since Arceus was first seen, and now there are twelve special children that are going to be graduating either from the Sinto Elite Ninja Academy or the Hoeto Ninja Academy (Sinto needs to feel scary). They carry the balance of the two nations on their shoulders. It is up to them whether the nations will descend into darkness and despair, or whether they will unite as one in a peaceful and harmonious celebration. Which side will you pick? Will you and your Pokemon try to stop the fighting between Sinto and Hoeto which will bring peace to the lands for eternity, or will you lead your team into the final war that has slowly been hanging over their heads in a daunting way?
There are approximately only six trainers for each region that passed this year, making a total of twelve people. The teams are split into groups of two, with a teacher which makes a three man platoon. On the day of the graduation, each trainer will receive a Pokémon based on their own personality as well as the skills in the graduation exam that they had to pass. Some people might have strong enough Pokémon to chose to be a teacher (or Expert), however. So the choice is yours. Either pick and be a Rookie or an Expert to teach the Rookies. The Pokémon that are able to be obtained as a Rookie are as follows:
Lower "Pass" Rank (D+ Through C+):
Zigzagoon-Lax (F)
Zigzagoon-Lax (F)
Pidgey-Brave (M)
Pichu-Jolly (M)
Sentret-Lonely (F)
Shinx-Timid (F)
Average "Pass" Rank (C+ Through B+):
Bulbasaur-Relaxed (F)
Charmander-Modest (M)
Squirtle-Quiet (M)
Chikorita-Bashful (F)
Cyndaquil-Rash (M)
Totodile-Calm (M)
Treecko-Gentle (M)
Torchic-Naughty (M)
Mudkip-Bold (F)-Taken
Turtwig-Serious (M)
Chimchar-Adamant (M)
Piplup-Naive (F)
High "Pass" Rank (B+ Through A+):
Dratini-Jolly (F)
Larvitar-Lonely (M)
Bagon-Bold (M)-Taken
Gible-Sassy (F)
Trapinch-Naive (M)
Trapinch-Naive (M)
Be reasonable though, higher skills and better Pokemon=much better SU...Natures have NOTHING to do with stats, just needed to see what Pokemon fits your personally. Also the Pokemon are all level 3.

*will not really be RPed except for handing out tasks and making small appearances and such
Tasks:
Jobs (Only Rookies do these):
More like small tasks. It could be something as simple as gathering the crops for harvest. This will level up your Pokémon from 1-3 levels, depending on how hard of work you do (AKA: how good your post is).
Trials (both Trainers and Experts do these):
It is a bit more difficult form of a task, but not terribly so. More like escorting someone to their home that is outside of the nation of either Sinto or Hoeto where you may encounter wild Pokémon or other little people wanting to battle. You may even encounter other people from the opposite region, but no one terribly tough. Levels up your Pokémon from about 2-4 levels, depending on how hard of work you do (AKA: how good your post is).
Missions (only Experts do these):
Missions are the most difficult thing out of the categories. Something like battling another member of Sinto or Hoeto, but the battle can lead to be perilous. Are you ready to risk it? Pokémon gains about 3-5 levels, depending on how hard the mission is and how hard you work at it (AKA: how good your post is).

Name: (Obviously, first and last would be nice, but last isn't needed)
Gender: (Er…just pick one, not too hard)
Age: (MUST be from ages 11-13, sorry but you don't want to graduate at 15, do you? Unless you're an expert, then you'd want to be around 20ish or so)
Appearance: (Obviously need this, 'cuz you're eventually gonna get a little roster thing)
Personality: (Might just end up helping out for team pairings and such)
Pokémon: (Depends on how good your SU is. I will inform you of it when you get it. If it pleases you, add little hints in your appearance/personality for the Pokemon you want. For Expert you can pick a Pokémon, but nothing Legendary obviously)
History: (Do you have a clan? Special bloodline? Parents? Siblings? What's your character's back-story?)
Region: (Either Sinto or Hoeto)
Clan: (If none, just put NA or cross it out. If you do have one, it might be a good idea to explain about its history and such.)
Rank: (Either pick Rookie or Expert)
Weapons Of Choice: (Shuriken, knives, swords, what? These are extras that MUST be covered in appearance, especially if you have a giant katana strapped to your back…nothing too big if you're a Rookie though)
Bloodline Trait: (Do you have one? What does it do? I will be VERY picky with this, so watch out)
Strengths: (Either Battling, Physical (literally fighting), or Tactical)
Weaknesses: (Either Battling, Physical (literally fighting), or Tactical)
Want The War To Stop: (Just put yes/no)
RP Sample: (If you give me good solid paragraphs above, this probably won't affect my decision too much. I'd just like to see how you structure your paragraphs)
Rules:
Rules:
1. Be active
2. No godmodding

4. Don't bully other people in the RP and all of that
5. Post "Typhlosion rulz" in your SU so I know you read this stuff
6. Don't post stuff like "Is it going to start yet?" in this thread (or any OOC junk)...if it's started, I'll post it above)
7. Try to use proper spelling and stuff...I absolutely will refuse to read something like:
"What r u doing here?" the boy asked.
"i told u i'd meet u here 2morrow," the other said.
...............Just no.
8. I'll reserve you a spot, but only for roughly 24 hours.

Short Basics:
-12 People for Rookies, unless not enough then I will cut it down
-6 People for Experts, unless not enough then I will cut it down
-Pick a side...will you fight to preserve the peace or just fight?
-Learn and grow with your Pokemon, raise its levels and evolve it to make it strong
-Go on tasks to help them all grow
SU Example (My Own SU):
Name: Shelby Kamizaki https://fc01.deviantart.com/fs49/f/2009/177/0/1/My_RolePlay_Character_by_Naruto_Fan1113.jpg <-Basically a character sheet
Gender: Female
Age: 19
Appearance:
Shelby is an average build for a girl. She stands at almost five feet seven inches tall. Her hair is long and brown. It goes down to just about her mid back. Shelby often keeps it in a ponytail so not to get in her way. She wears a short sleeved black T-shirt. Over that is a cloak (or cape) that goes to her knees. It is red and has a black wolf head on the back. She wears jeans and the average sandals that the ninja do. Her jeans are bound at the ends by wrappings so they don't drag and get in the way. She has a long scar from her right elbow all the way to her thumb. Her eyes are just a simple blue color. She has a clan tattoo on her left shoulder. It is the same as the one on her cloak. The tattoo is in black ink, but when she activates her bloodline trait it expands through her whole body and glows red (the color of her family's chakra/energy)
Personality:
Shelby is a fairly fiery girl. She doesn't take any crap from anyone. Though she seems very hotheaded, she's good at keeping her cool in fights. She and her Typhlosion work as an almost amazing team, and together they have completed many missions. She almost hates her clan, especially now that her brother is gone. When he left when she was about 13, Shelby began to hate her clan with a passion. She realized it was just full of over powerful snobs, so she began to basically stay out of its business as much as possible. Her skill levels aren't very great, except for when she activates her bloodline trait, making her very strong. Sometimes it is said among the clan that she is like their demon child, but she doesn't believe it. Being powerful doesn't mean everything to her--peace does. She wants the war to stop, and will do whatever it takes to do so.
Pokémon: Typhlosion Level: 46
(Pokémon's Appearance: Optional):
There is a scar across his right eye, almost matching the one on Shelby's elbow.
History:
Shelby is from the Kamizaki Clan. They are a clan full of warriors. They are one of the strongest clans in Hoeto, and are the main ones who get sent out for missions. Though their bloodlines run deep into the ground, they still don't always produce the protégés that they wish to. She has one sibling, but he ran away to Sinto. He was then proclaimed a disgrace to the family and was henceforth disowned. Shelby is actually average for being in such a "great" clan, and they dislike her for that.
Region: Hoeto
Clan: Kamizaki Clan. https://fc06.deviantart.com/fs18/i/2007/165/d/4/Kanji_Wolf_Tattoo_by_WildSpiritWolf.jpg <-Clan Symbol/Symbol on the back of her cloak.
Rank: Expert
Weapons Of Choice:
Shelby generally uses the natural kunai and shuriken. She has a holster strapped to her belt that makes sure she has everything. She does have a very large katana strapped to her back. The hilt is embodied with the Kamizaki Clan's symbol; a wolf. The end of the blade has been carved into the mouth of a wolf and this weapon must be kept sharp at all times. It also responds to chakra but only the chakra of the Kamizaki Clan.
Bloodline Trait: Wolf God. When she activates this trait, her senses grow heightened and she is a much better fighter. She also adds a few extra features. Her nails extend and her canine teeth become larger, making her look almost wolfish. Her hair bristles. The clan tattoo on her left shoulder expands over her entire body, glowing a bright red color. This is almost like a ditch effort, however, because it drains her very much. Normal members of the Kamizaki Clan don't have this problem, and it's something Shelby is trying to work on.
Strengths: Mostly physical battles with her Pokémon
Weaknesses: Not seriously bad on tactical, but she isn't exactly amazing either.
Want The War To Stop: Yes.
RP Sample: NA
^ That would probably pass for an average if I was grading it to be a Rookie.
Alright well...I was going to make it where I hand out the Pokemon, but...I guess not, because that might be too confusing. If you would, however, I can pick based off your character's personality and SU =) If you don't want me to do that, then just state which one you want and include a description.
If you want to see the total accepted people, go check the OOC Thread =)...which is here, for people who can't figure out how to get to it without a link: https://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=183861
