Unlike the previous, I will give good, constructive critique. Consider it a. . Gift from one Shinji fan to another.

Spoiler:

It seems like you can draw more realistic-looking faces very well at a glance. Upon further inspection, this seems to be true, except for the obvious anime mouth, of course. As for precision, the pigtails could stand to be a bit longer. Looking at a picture of Soul, her pigtails go way past the shoulders.

Chibi Silver! <3 The lines on his jacket seem rather shaky. And most of the strands of hair on his head (down by his shoulders) don't connect with each other. But who can resist those cute eyes?

This one is much more well done. Evil Silver. >=3 I actually can't find anything wrong with it. ^^" Oh, God, my eyes are failing me! TT 3TT

This is just too cute. The shoulders could stand to be bigger, though. Much bigger.

surprisingly
i've only really attempted to draw shinji a few times
but i gave up because i wasn't too happy with the results

I shall pull a Shinji's Lover here and add some criticism.

Spoiler:

The legs kind of look like they are floating. If you wanted to let it look like he's sitting the feel should have been bigger and more forward..
The three fingered hands are kind of a pet peeve of mine, but the drawing still looks cute <3 Also I love the way you drew the glasses.
Overall, it's adorable.

The jaw seems majorly misplaced. It should tip inward quite so much. Also the mouth should have been a little bit more to the left. Remember that a mouth is right under the nose, even if he's pulling it like that ><

What I do like is the hair and eyes. The eyes are really dark and well shaded in my opinion. Hair has always been kind of my thing so I pay a lot of attention to it and I like the way you did it here.

The hair is actually not that bad here.

The (my) left hand looks like it has three fingers O_O There should have been more tips showing unless you were going for the alien look xD Which is cool with me. also you could have added a bulge in the pocket of the shirt where his hand is and the hand should have been thicker. I am not sure if you were going for the wrist or the hand that is just sticking out between the end of the sleeve and the pocket, but it looks like it should have been the hand and its waaay to thin in comparison with the (my) left hand.

What I do like is the overal clothing and the feet. I'm missing the eyebrows, the brow seems too empty, btu the rest of the head is good too.

first off the underarms. If you are going for the rounded look go for it on both sides. Now it looks with the top going inward and the bottom going outward that there's something wrong with her arms. Also, you need a little bit more of a wrist.
The (my) right leg seems way thinner than the left one, and it should have been the thickness of the left. The left foot also seems off. Skirt also seems to be a bit too uni-length with the folds.

Once again I like the hair and the jacket. I like her expression too =]

I really like your style. The Lucian one makes me Squee like a fangirl, so it's my favorite one, along with Silver. XD
I love how you use different line widths, it gives it more detail in my personal opinion.

I assume your talking about my cartoon-ish style
which in response, there isn't much i can vary other than eye style
and maybe how chubby i make the character
plus i drew everything with a mouse, my hand hurts, and i tend to draw at night/early in the morning

but im just making assumptions
you didn't even tell me what looked the same about it, much less which style you thought looked similar.
obviously Zoey Spectrum and Chibi!Lucian look nothing alike.
