    Who else here watches Skins?

    I know I'm not the only one.
    Discuss the new series, complain about what you'll miss from the first two series.

    Skins

    I freakin' love skins, as some of you know from my signatures. xD

    I'm currently re-watching the first series because the new one just isn't that great. :/
    I was a little miffed when they re-used the drug dealer story from S01 with Sid, even the owing £300 part. xD
     
    Did they really?
    I have only seen episode one of s3.
    That is disappointing

    They can never outdo the cast of s1 and s2.

    I started watching it on FOX8 about a month ago and it's already become my favourite show currently on TV.
    I like it because it reminds me so much of myself and all of my friends; the relationships, sex, drugs, alcohol, falling out...
    You know, all the problems that teens go through on a daily basis.

    Whenever an episode comes on I'm so drawn in that, for the entire hour, I don't get up off the couch.
    Once it's over I feel really happy inside and I can't wait to see the next one.
    It's great that they've decided to make a show that portrays the lives of teens just like me and shows everyone that teen life is nothing like The O.C. or Gossip Girl.

    If you have never watched it, I demand you start immediately!

    My friends are crazy about Skins. Myself, I haven't gotten around to watch it yet...

    I've only heard them speaking very fast about really weird things about the series. Didn't make much sense. Could... well anyone tell me what the show's really about? Since I can't seem to get a decent answer out of anybody IRL >.< I'll borrow the series from someone if it seems interesting :9

    1st series was still the best
     
    I'll never love another series like I loved the first two.
    Tony and Sid were the most amazing characters I've ever seen.
    I connected so much with the two of them.
    Both of them have so many similarities with me.

    Skins is about a group of teenagers from Bristol, England and pretty much everything about their lives. Each episode focuses around a different one of them and lets you get a better understanding for that particular character. Until the final of the series, which is about all of them. =)

    P.S. - Seeing as I've only seen the first series, that's the one I'm talking about.

    You've seen the best series.
    two is good, and three is mediocre.
     
    I didn't watch the first two series much, caught a couple of the episodes, but I'm watching series 3 atm and it's becoming one of my favourite shows. JJ's episode last week was probably one of the best in the series, apart from Freddie's ep. It'll be interesting to see Thomas confronting Pandora tonight. I need to get round to buying the first and second series on DVD to compare :P
