Me and my girlfriend have recently taken up playing pokemon cards. I bought the ignition deck and she bought the water/fighting deck. I have a pokemon in my deck (i forget which one) but it has a move that costs 1 grass energy and puts the other person pokemon asleep(theres no flip of a coin). It also has a move that does 20 damage. because of this more she cant win. All i do is put it out as my active pokemon and keep putting her pokemon to sleep, when they dont wake up i hit them for 20 untill there knocked out. Its almost cheap is there trainers that like awakening or will i just always win as long as i have this pokemon?

please help its almost taking the fun out of the game.

You realize you need to flip a coin when your Pokémon falls asleep, right? At the end of your turn, flip a coin. If heads, your Pokémon wakes up. If tails, they stay asleep. As for a card, you can use Double Full Heal, Poké Healer +, Life Herb, and some other cards as well.

yes i realized you need to flip a coin. the problem is if i put my girlfriend pokemon asleep, then on her turn at the end she flips a coin. If head i just put her back to sleep if tails i hit her for 2 and i continue untill shes dead. But your saying there are cards you can get that wake up a pokemon? As long as i have a couple of these ****** basic pokemon in my deck shes cant win.

Actually, you flip the coin between turns (as in: You attack - this ends your turn, then the coin flip, then her turn starts, she does her turn, then coin flip again).

And just in case that didn't make sense:

    1. You attack.
    2. Your turn ends.
    3. Coin flip.
    4. Her turn begins.
    5. Whatever she does on her turn.
    6. Her turn ends.
    7. If it's still asleep, flip the coin again.

You can just put them on the bench to wake them up, with Warp point, switch, Teleportation, Restructure, and other stuff like that.

    None the less trainers/supporters/stadiums.
Dawn stadium removes status effects, PokeHealer removes status effects.

And if she woke up on the first heads, she can knock out your pokemon so yeah,

Honestly, you probably won't keep her asleep long.

sweet that explains thanks guys the game will be much better now.
