Slow Loading PC.com Domain:

I?m having a problem here. I?m using Mozilla as my browser and have broadband 256KB/sec. Whenever I type the www.pokecommunity.com in my browser, one quarter of the main page ? the banner, Navbar loads up and then like the page is continuously loading, the server never sends more bytes to my computer. When I try the .org domain, it loads fully but is a bit slow.

Is PC?s server running slow again? Are any of you experiencing these problems? Or is this related to skins? I have tried deleting cookies, cache and history folder but with no avail. I need some help desperately.

I'm afraid that it's only you. All domains work fine for me, and load at the same speed. The only thing I can suggest is that you try another browser... =/

I did that and its fine with me.But you are right about the server is slow.Mabye its your computer that is causing this.It may have a virus.

I'm using FireFox and everything loads fine to me. So it's not the sever we are on (since it looks like you might be the only one with the slow loading).

I have Broad Band 10 mbs and it loads just like normal/

Hm....This problem occurs only to me and only when I use my Broadband since I'm on Dial-up now. I'll try something else. If you want, you can close this thread.

I use IE and FireFox and both usually load up fast for me, but I do know what you are talking about. That sometimes happens to me.

Well, at first when I typed in pokecommunity.com on IE it gave me the beloved

"Page cannot be displayed"

I refreshed many times but I finally got in from another link 0o. I thought PC was down...

It loads fine for me, I'm on IE.

However, sometimes when I try to get on it says PC is down, and just screws up.

That only happens when I'm at TAFE though.

Yeah I have IE also and I only have problems occassionally.I just click refresh or go back.Must be your browser.Switch to FireFox if you can.

I use Firefox and this happens to me only when I use my Broadband connection and also mainly for the Index Page - if I directly click the link for another sub-forum it loads fine. How come I'm the only one with this problem.
