Slow Loading Times

    I am aware that this is a huge community, but I am sorry, the site is VERY slow. I am also aware that this site's website bill comes out of the pockets of the webmasters, but please, could you do SOMETHING about the hosting PC has so the site will run faster? Thanks... :)

    I have cable internet through RoadRunner so don't tell me my internet connection is slow. -_-

    EDIT: Ok, maybe not VERY slow, but a lot of times it is... -_-
     
    I have this problem also,but it's not all the time.I fact it only happens when alot of people are online,it could possibly be cause of all the post going in at one time.
     
    This is a forum run by mysql which is usally hosted on an ftp:// server so all the data going in and out might take a while so get over it

    We do have our own sever. That site at the top of the page (atleast for all the layouts but one) called Pok?mon Palace hosts PC.

    I don't see how you can say it's slow. I am running on 56K and the pages load as soon as I click them (unless a new images comes up or something).
     
    If it's so slow why dont you go find somewhere else then,this site is not slow,Like Arcanine said as soon as i click it already up.
     
    you find me a faster (faster then 100mbps connection) server for free and we'll move there.... aside from that, I suggest you visit www.dslreports.com and run their tweak tests to optimize your connection speeds..

    heh.. like i said.. it'll be very hard to find a 100mbps server anywhere 'specially for free.
     
    Yeah...
    People- Be happy its even UP. Be happy for what you have. PC could crash any minute. Even if its slow its still there.
     
    Well Good Hosts are very hard to come by.Especially for .com sites.....
    So probably Pc's going great currently.Not that slow too...Cause if you store the layout images in your Temp Internet folder!
