Small, maybe unimportant suggestion?

I'm probably the only one who really cares, but, would it be possible to let tier 5 (or any other tier) the benefit of having rotating avatars? Or would it put to much stress on the server? Just a suggestion to see if anyone else likes the idea or not.

Not sure how much it stresses the server, buuutt... if everyone were to request a rotating avatar, there are apparently about 200 tier 5's according to the list, so by that logic if every tier 5 requested, the admins would have to play around with that many postbits. :x Tier 6, maybe, but 5? Definitely no.

I mean, I don't even think us mods even would be able to get that option even if we asked, so...

Anyway, I don't much see the point, it has to be admin set also. So it'd be a pain for them to have to change it for hundreds of supporters. Rotating signatures are something you'd be able to manage though, or at least, the images.

If you really want a rotating avatar of sorts, you could play with .gifs and have a few icons, but have the speed at which the image changes as fairly high. I don't know if this will work to what extent and remain under the size restrictions, but supporters aren't going to get rotating avatars..

It'd be nice but I think I saw Patchisou Yutohru post somewhere that you need a custom postbit which Admins need to do themselves, I assume so that your avatar doesn't upload to the server. So unless some sort of plugin was installed it sounds like a lot of work.

I don't mind so much though since you can, as mentioned itt, have rotating signatures.

I'd like this idea. Although it will put a little strain on the server. I don't think having it as a Tier 6 perk is a good idea as there Is hardly anyone who can afford about £100 just to get rotating signatures. I think that Tier 5 or even Tier 4 is a better idea.

Tier 6 normally don't get anything and it's really a few extra perks because nobody is going to donate that much for a larger avatar, more PM space and a possible rotating avatar. They donate that much because they're loaded love the site enough to donate that much so it's pretty much just separating them apart.

If Tier 5 or even 4 had this, it be nearly impossible to manage... As mentioned, it has to be added by the admins manually, and if you were to take a stab at how many Tier 4/5 there are, a large proprotion would want it. It would be impossible for admins to keep up...

Leave it at higher staff alone.
