Smite on PS4

    There have been hints about Smite coming to the Playstation 4, and this actually makes me happy for once! I don't know how the hell this will work, but games like Diablo 3 do well so there's a shot. So far there are mainly just rumors, but what do you guys think? Like I can't even imagine Smite or a game like League of Legends on a console.
     
    Smite is already on Xbox One! it's doing great so far. First important MOBA that has ever hit a console. the eSports scene is growing fast, and although the metagame is very different to the PC version, it is doing really well and is interesting to watch.

    Interestingly enough,. they also found code strings for WiiU Smite. Definitely a more remote possibility, but it could be cool!

    I'm an avid PC player and i'm waiting forward for the Smite World Championships in January. :)
     
    Not to nitpick here but do you have any reliable sources to validate? I mean we are curious on how these rumors came about

    Good thing somebody pointed out Smite being in XBox one.

    To be perfectly honest, Smite's gameplay suits the gaming console pretty well. Its basically a 3rd Person brawler, and I honestly prefer to play such with D-Pads than a mouse and keyboard D:

    Also, as a Thanatos main, i would love to play this on PS4 should ever it be done.

    Like I can't even imagine Smite or a game like League of Legends on a console.

    Guilty Gear 2 Overture's multiplayer pretty much played like a MOBA (Characters with unique skill or movesets and fighting along minion waves to push towards an enemy base), and that was before League of Legends and Smite were released. Too bad not too many people liked it for being a complete departure to what people loved about Guilty Gear.

    Smite plays veeeerrryyyy nicely on XB1, from personal experience; gave it a shot and found it felt pretty natural, probably because Smite doesn't use an overhead view and doesn't require insane precision. Menu navigation felt a bit odd, but I recommend the game.

    Hope to see it on PS4~ 'cause I'm definitely grabbing it XD.
     
    Wow, I did not know that Smite was already on console! If the game is on Xbox One and is doing well, ten I hope to see it on PS4 in the near future. I've never played Smite, but I'd probably get it. If it does get on PS4 I feel like it would be really popular because it is already a really competitive game to begin with. I still can't really imagine playing a game like Smite or League on console though it just seems bizarre to me.
