    right so i've never ever had a pokemon game at the time of release so this is a new experience for me
    i'm sure not doing a thread template so bear with me

    opening thoughts:

    - popplio's clown noise makes me laugh every single time
    - already over wingull
    - i really can't find any aesthetic faults so far
    - it's a bit weird seeing like five times as many non-alolan mons but it's inevitable
     
    currently navigating hau'oli city, still doing the seemingly never-ending tutorial section :( i also gave myself a very adorable haircut for the low price of $4000 and instantly showed lillie who has the right to the long and wavy cut.

    i have made a new friend! jean grey the abra was hard find because i wanted a female one, but salem pinned her ass down with fake out and now she is in my servitude forever. we also caught a few of the great unwashed in order to fill up the pokedex for that scientist guy.

    ann coulter has a friend in tartarus. but our good friend barry allen still doesn't have a partner :( some day.

    played quite a bit without updating so i probably forgot a fair bit lmao

    i ditched trumbeak because it was ugly and i had made new friends. bree the zubat (and eventual crobat) is a far better friend that dahlia ever was! so dahlia was put in the friends box and will probably remain there until i can spam evolve her into queen toucan. jean grey became a kadabra and alakazam in quick succession but i might have accidentally nerfed her bc she doesn't have any attack moves LMAO
    salem is still hanging around and i'm very grateful for his infinite amount of super potions. saving me endless amounts of cash.

    i'm gonna go to the second island soon! i beat the head honcho of melemele and now i'm just wandering around ten carat hill looking for stuff
    tauros is a godsend
