The other day I was sticking up an elderly couple because they looked rather affluent, and a problem arose... a moral dilemma if you will. I couldn't get over it.
So I had a glock to this woman's neck... her husband started crying so I grabbed him by the throat and told him that if he kept crying I would have to start breaking his fingers one by one. Soon enough I had them both in a headlock, so I dragged them to a nearby alleyway where it would be less likely that we'd be seen and tied them to a dumpster with zipties and I accidently broke the woman's wrist. It was a compound break and she started bleeding all over herself and her husband.
So my dilemma is this: I was able to take $231 dollars between her purse and his wallet but I wasn't sure if I should kill them at this point or not? I mean it was dusk out and they were returning from evening mass, so I don't think they could really make out any details of my description. I don't have any particular accent that would clue them in to if I was dark enough to be hispanic or black, I don't have any tatoos, and I do this pretty regularly but I usually have the opportunity to kill my targets before I actually rob them, so what should I have done? Naturally I murdered them both just to be safe, but could I have gotten away without catching a couple bodies.
What do you do when you mug the elderly? They were already pretty histerical and their age would tell me their sense of sight is poor. (both wore glasses, which fell off/were broken in the scuffle) If I had executed them I'd leave ballistic evidence would could be traced to a weapon.. luckily mine is illegal so they wouldn't get a name, but they would know what kind of weapon I operate with and could build a profile on murders with this particular weapon so I try not to actually fire burners if I don't have to. I normally have a knife on me for these types of things but it was an opportunity that arose without me being entirely prepared or expecting it.
