So which rivals can you name?

    I recently found out that you can apparently name Hugh in B2W2. Before that, I thought that the only ones you could name were Blue and Silver. And I've been looking everywhere, but I can't find any details on which rivals you can name and which rivals you can't. Sorry for the noobishness, but I've only just got my hands on a DS recently and I haven't had a chance to play all the games yet.
     
    The rival character is nameable in all the games of Gens 1, 2, and 4. In the Hoenn games they're always May/Brendan, and in Gen 5 it's only in Black2/White2. Chances are that we might not be able to name the rival character ever again anymore given its absence in Gens 6 & 7.
