[Solved]Need Help with Porymap: Overworld Sprites Not Displaying in New Pokeemerald-Expansion Version

    Hi everyone,

I really need some help with an issue I'm having with the new version of the Pokeemerald-Expansion and Porymap.

In my previous version, I could easily use all the overworld sprites for Pokémon without any issues. However, since upgrading to the latest version of the Pokeemerald-Expansion, the overworld sprites for all Pokémon are no longer showing up in Porymap. This is making it really difficult for me to place Pokémon in the overworld.

Unfortunately, I deleted my old version, otherwise I would have just continued working with that, but that's no longer an option.

Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this? Is there perhaps a setting in Porymap or the Pokeemerald-Expansion that I missed, or do I need to manually add the overworld sprites again? If anyone else has encountered this problem and found a solution, I'd really appreciate any tips!

Thanks in advance for your help!

To fix the issue, you need to enter the following in the sprite field of Porymap: OBJ_EVENT_GFX_SPECIES(PIKACHU).

Although Porymap might not recognize it and will display an event sign instead, rest assured that this will work perfectly in the built ROM. The event will display correctly in-game despite the incorrect visual representation in Porymap.
