The thing to do would be to wait and see what people say about it after it releases. You don't have to pre-order any game or get it on release day, so wait until more actual information is available on it, then make a decision based on said new information.

Yeah, there's no stress and so far I haven't read anything about any preorder bonus that might incentivize players, so I'd just chill on it and wait for some reviews to come in from sources you trust.

I also agree with the others. You don't have to preorder the game or anything. You can get it later. There is no point in getting a game you may not like.
If you wanted a choice now, most pokemon content creators on Youtube are already playing the game or streaming on twitch. So that might be something you can look at. It is usually what I do if I don't know if I want a game or not.
