4th Gen Some new Names!

i cant think of anything pochamas u.s name (if true) has to do with a penguin , it sounds like when raindrops are fallin lol
 
Now that more names are getting revealed, I'm actually happy that I've got the Japanese game.
I won't get the Eng,lish game, but maybe the German one.
I hope the German names won't be any worse then the English ones xD

Floatzel and Pachirisu were meant to be final IIRC.

Do you mean being able to use Katakana in English games?
I don't think so.
Otherwise we would also be able to do so in the 3rd gen games.
 
i think you MIGHT be able to use japanese characters... if you've ever played PictoChat, there are japanese characters available. then again, WiFi is limited to regions. who knows...

No, I don't think so. Either this is a new trend Nintendo is doing, or Serebii will get more info later. Besides, Floazil and Squirolt sound MUCH better.
 
Shellos is a new name and confirmed, not too bad but could be better.
 
Bippa = Bidoof
Korinku/Spinx= Shinx
Subomi = Budew
Fuwaraido = Driftblim (O_o)
Pinpuku/Happini = Happiny
Scorpi = Skorupi (Scorpi iis waaaaay better)
Gregguru/Croalurk = Croagunk

Hmm... Well all I can say is thank Jebus for Nicknames.....

Freezer, Thunder and Fire? Well to the Japanese they might be good because they're not Japanese words. Anyway this is the worst Generation for Names, the First three Gens have good and (for the most part) original names. Oh and Pochama IS definatly Piplup. [/Edit]

Some of them are ok like Shinx and Happiny because all they did really was change one letter in the name. I really like Subomi's english name it makes sense, but Driftblim just sounds weird. I think they shoud have kept Scorpi the way it was but Skorupi is not that bad. I can't believe the jap. name for Vaporeon is Showers makes you wonder where they got the name from :\

No wait, it is Shinx...what a horrid name.

Pochama is Definatly Piplup.

Rozureido = Roserade. Just as I thought...
 
Remember guys, Pachiseru and Floatzel are NOT the final names. They are still subject to dubbing.

Perfer the Japanese... Actually the English name sounds MORE Japanese.

of course it is! When you start having pokemon that are honeycomb and hot air balloons, it's gonna be your ultimate downfall.
