some opinions on my website layout?

it took me a while to make this. please give me some pointers on how to improve it. i created a joomla site because it seems its way more customizable than wordpress. (IMO) Oh yeah it doesnt have original content! i'm using the example content that comes with joomla.

this is my second attempt at creating a template so don't expect too much. my first was a DISASTER! so yeah lol here it is

Wow, nice layout; but all I would say make it look like it has more of the shape and maybe make it look more attractive?

Well, it's not exactly badly designed, but you may want to add more colors. It just looks- average.

thanks for the feedback guys... and thanks for the suggestion but I'm having a hard time on what colors.

Well, try using the neutral colors found on https://www.somacon.com/p142.php for background. Also, instead of black for text, use a dark Green, Blue, Red, or Purple. Make all the colors match the background you choose.

i'm starting to actually like my current colors and if i change my BG color to green or the other suggestions it would not look good
