The Fourth Generation introduced different language Pokedex entries. However, only 14 Pokemon are programmed to have them in gen Diamond/Pearl specifically. These Pokemon are: Ekans, Pikachu, Psyduck, Ponyta, Staryu, Magikarp, Wobbuffet, Heracross, Sneasel, Teddiursa, Houndour, Wingull, Slakoth and Roselia. No other Pokemon in Diamond/Pearl have a Foreign Pokedex entry. All of the other games in
Gen IV do, however. But I want to focus on D/P for this thread.
You can get a German Magikarp from a Hiker in an in-game trade to get see at least one foreign Pokedex entry.
Were you ever able to get one of these 14 foreign Pokedex entries besides Magikarp? I wasn't, rip.
