I'm doing fine, and then I suddenly get get near constant database errors and tons of lag. Heck, I'm not even sure if this will get through. Oh, here's the error:

There seems to have been a slight problem with the database.
Please try again by pressing the refresh button in your browser.

An E-Mail has been dispatched to our Technical Staff, who you can also contact if the problem persists.

    We apologise for any inconvenience.

I know it's not my end, as everything else works perfectly, and I'm getting my normal speeds.

Steve will have it fix it if it pops up again.
It's not really much, just showing down PC a little and having that screen pop up.
It isn't doing it for me anymore.

I'ts fine again, I felt it too, I even rebooted my Pc because I thought it was my problem

I'm still getting it at times, though not as often. I'm going to try and clear the cashe and history and reboot. Maybe that'll help.

It doesn't have anything to do with your computer, just the server is all. It stopped for now, but who knows if it will happen again. Just something minor and nothing to worry about, really.

Actually, it did help some, but not for the site. It's showing up slightly faster, though.

I had it too, just had to refresh my page and it seems ok now.

It happened to me like 5 times. Even the Refresh button didn't help. Atleast it's back to normal now =/

It's just a server problem. There should be no trouble on your side. It's probably gonna go away soon enough. ^^
*poke* Ryan already said that. ;3 *clings and drags Moony away* XD

yes it happens from time to time due to a short term server overload.... the websrver and database server have a set amount of connections it can handle at one time, and while the limit is set quite high, there are times when it's reached and any furthere connections are dropped and not proccessed.. also during these rare times the action of making a request can once in a while crash either apache or the mysql server or both..

look at it as a compramise for faster server / page load times VS allowing more connections, thus slowing ALL sites on the server to a crawl. Either way you can't win, so we choose a faster page time.
