Somewhat strange question...please help!

    I've been given some details about a card game (actually through a statistics homework problem) & receive extra credit for figuring out what game it is (and what L, C, and S stand for). I know that Pokemon has a 60 card deck, so I wondering if the other things fit in too. Is this Pokemon?! Thank you so much!

    -The deck has 60 cards in it
    -The deck used in the problem has the following cards: 22 are type "L", 24 are type "C", and 14 are type "S"
    -To start the game, the player draws seven cards
    -You can gain points
    -The ideal mix of cards is 2 or 3 cards from each type
    -Game play in the game is very sensitive ot the number of "L" cards drawn
     
    The Pokemon TCG is the only TCG I can think of that actually uses a set amount of cards in a deck, and you do draw seven cards at the beginning of a game. You can't gain points per se, but you can draw Prize cards- every time you KO a Pokemon, you draw a Prize card. When you draw all your Prize cards, you win the game- it's a decent way of keeping score. The ideal Pokemon lines involve only a few different energy types- most decks are monotype, although some cater to two or three types.

    The LCS thing throws me off, though. I have no idea what that's supposed to be.
     
    Magic: The Gathering requires at least 60 cards, so it could be MTG. Game play is highly sensitive to the number of mana (AKA - Land) cards drawn, as you can't do anything without them. C would have to be creatures for MTG, and S would be spells or whatever the whole of them is called (Sorcery, Instants, etc). I think it is Magic: The Gathering, and not Pokemon featured here. You also draw seven cards to start in MTG.

    Very, very likely to be MTG.
    Lands are serious business.

    What it is labeled as, which is usually 10 per counter. They did have some beads that were color-coded for different amounts of damage back in the day, but I have no clue how the colored bead system worked. I've pretty much always used the cardboard punch-outs that come with the decks.
