Idk, would that just put more emphasis on needing to sing then depending on how you score it? Anyways, given there's already a singing contest as well then maybe it still won't get much attention as there's a separate event just for that aspect. *shrugs, and pops out*
 
Well, I made a temporary rules section but I may post it on Friday coz I'm at a different comp and the file is in my comp. And I don't have the time to rewrite coz I have things to do... In the meanwhile, let's talk on other things. Let's talk on the judging criteria. How about this...

Message(how the parody conveys the message): 30
Catchiness (If it's catchy and good): 5
Parody (The writing itself. Is the grammar good, spelling, etc.): 15
Total : 50 pts.

And maybe plus points for those who will sing their piece....

What do you think?

I think that would work well. Being able to focus on the most important aspects of a parody rather than more trivial things about it would make it more fair to judge.

4. Although not required, you may sing your parody and may grant you plus points. Bear in mind that even if you sing your parody, it won't grant you a guaranteed win. Other entries that were not sung may have a chance at winning.

5. All entries must be of song length. Meaning you have to write the whole song as a parody. We won't accept parodies of chorus length or verse length.

6. Prizes for the Contest:

Participants will get an emblem for joining.

3rd Place will grant a: 3rd Place Emblem

2nd Place will grant a: 2nd Place Emblem

And 1st place will have: a 1st Place Emblem

7. Deadline of the submission of the parodies will be on the final day of PCX, September 30, Sunday.

8. Any questions can be answered by the hosts, Toujours, Para-Dox, and gunnerpow7, via VM or PM.

9. Remember to be a sport and have fun!

I like the entire rest of it but not a fan of the tier supportership. This isn't a particularly difficult contest, so I don't feel like giving out supporter tiers is really warranted. :(
 
So, if we remove the supportership rewards, then the rules are fine and dandy? Any other suggestions?

Do you love to listen to parodies, Does it make you want to write one? Well, this contest is designed for you! Before we start, here are some rules you must follow...

Another suggestion; don't format the text all over the place. Having it as left, centre and right aligned actually makes it darn annoying to read; it's better to keep it simplier and just as one format. Right alignment is not recommended as that's what people are not used to reading often in the first place.
 
I think all we need to do now is to create the emblems and then we will be ready for tomorrow.
 
Guys, we should release the results next Saturday or Sunday because I can only be online during those times. Also, while waiting and judging, we should also make the emblems in that space of time...
