Hello everyone! As I'm sure many of you have figured out, the character of the month is actually not Cameron, and all of these spam threads were a part of April Fool's Day festivities.

I want to thank all who participated, especially Aquacorde, Arc, DawnLover, Juno, and White Mage. To everyone else, I apologize for making you all have to put up with it ;P

As for April's actual character of the month, I will be announcing it in the character of the month thread soon and update the splash.

We all know that he deserved to win. After his strategic win against Ash, I feel that Virgil and Dino should have been a piece of cake for Cameron. But Cameron must have went easy on Virgil or something just to make Virgil feel better.

So what if Cameron had not went easy and Virgil and won the league like he should have?

I think Cameron is the greatest character in the whole anime. I love him so much that I felt the need to make this thread solely for his appreciation. Please post about your favorite scenes of him and why you think he is the best character ever.

Cameron Should Replace Ash

Cameron is by far one of the most interesting characters in the anime. He has proven his skills as a Trainer when he defeated Ash fair and square in a five v. six battle. His ability to think up strategies on the fly by snapping his headband is awe-inspiring. That is why I think Cameron should replace Ash.

Cameron would be way more interesting to watch than Ash. What do you all think?

I don't think Cameron should replace Ash. I'd rather a character that forgets Ground > Electric, than a character that can't do simple math.

Cameron was a character that didn't sit too well with me. He was a little bit too happy-go-lucky rival even by BW standards. He just felt uninspired. He has no redeeming traits to him. Even his selection in Pokemon are rather meh. At least with other rivals like Tyson, you got a cow-boy Meowth as a cool signature. Or, even Virgil with his adorable Eevee squadron were memorable. What's special about Cameron team? Lucario, is rather overused in the anime. Ferrothorn, is alright. Samurott, isn't exactly special. I'll admit that Hydreigon is fantastic. Swanna, is boooooring. Watchog, is just amusing.

My favourite Cameron moment was when Virgil eliminated him from the League. Seeing Cameron's face when Flareon incinerates Lucario was just majestic. Then having the young boy fall to his knees in disappointment as his Lucario lays fainted, made that episode glorious. Always brings a tear to my eyes. Such beauty. Such grace.

Spin-off Show feat. Cameron!!

A leaked script from next weeks Pokémon Get☆TV has revealed that Cameron will be getting his own spinoff adventures!! There will be short promos airing at the end of the regular episodes for a few weeks leading up to the show's official debut on April 16th! From then out, the Cameron episodes will air every third Thursday instead of the usual ani eps.

So how do y'all feel about this development?? I didn't think Cameron was super popular but apparently Riolu/Lucario does a lot for a character's appeal! Maybe it will be nice to have a protagonist with a fully evolved companion? Maybe he will do some Mega-Evolution stuff? I hope he will mature over the course of this series though he is a bit hyper for me.

I'd rather have a spin-off series with the lone rider, Cowboy Meowth + Tyson. At least with those two you get some cool chemistry. Heck, let's get Meyer his own spin-off too. He's relevant to the current series, and I'm sure most people are dying to see the exploits of Blaziken Mask. Seriously, we haven't even scratch the surface of the concept and character of Blaziken Mask. He also has a Mega Blaziken if you need that Mega Evolution fill.

Perfect Team for Cameron

I've been spending a lot of time this past month thinking about the perfect Pokémon team for Cameron, and today I finally figured out his perfect team. This is based on many factors such as Cameron's strategies and his personality.

Lucario is cool I guess but Diggersby tho? Diggersby's ears can punch harder than Lucario's fists ever could.

Ferrothorn is too heavy to do anything. That's why Cameron needs a Speedy Pokémon like Diggersby.

Water can be powerful maybe if you're battling in the ocean, but mud is so much more powerful. that's why Cameron should ditch his Samurott for a Diggersby.

I know what you're all thinking. "Why would Cameron ditch Hydreigon for a Diggersby?" Well it's obvious: Hydreigon's head hands may be cool, but Diggersby's arm ears tho? That's the definition of a powerhouse.

Flying is a good advantage when battling foes on the ground, but that doesn't matter when you have a Diggersby who can pick up those birds with its long arm ears. That's why Cameron needs a Diggersby on his team, to defend himself from other Diggersby. Since Swanna is Cameron's weakest link, Diggersby be should replace it.

Watchog isn't that different from Diggersby (aside from its lack of ear arms) but whatever it can do Diggersby can do so much better. Next time Cameron needs to snap his headband during a pinch, Diggersby can go do it for him with its ears while pummeling its foes with its arms. Watchog can't do that.

So there you have it. The perfect team for Cameron is six Diggersby.

Then that would mean that Virgil wouldn't win. And, I'm sure that none of you guys want that. Team Eevee Squadron should all be who we're rooting for.

How would Cameron go about defeating the stunning Virgil anyways? It's not like he's packing a Diggersby of any kind to give him an advantage.

Fantastic choices all around. An awe-inspiring team of pure strength and power. Truly the perfect fit for Cameron. As only a goofy Pokemon can suit a goofy trainer.

Much like Diggersby, Based Cameron is not goofy. In fact only the most skilled Trainers can handle one Diggersby, let alone a whole team.

I lover Cameron. He has some of the best Pokemon and I love when he snaps his headband.

To me . Cameron is nothing more then a Piss of shit like Trip that get thing he doesn't deserve just because of Writers infinite love for them.

Cameron should totally replace Ash. He has a really interesting personality and is a total genius when he battles.

There is no need for replacing a Stupid Protagonist with even more Stupider Protagonist Just because he's Cute .

I am excited for this. I think Cameron is well-deserving of his own spin-off and it will be a great way for us to learn more about him since he didn't make that many appearances in the main anime.

Cameron Should Replace Team Rocket

Wouldn't you get such a carthartic feeling to see Cameron and his smug face go flying instead of Team Rocket?

Even though I'm not fond of Cameron, the amount of evil and devilish things he would be capable of is extraordinary. Plus, it would be an interesting plot point for a rival to turn into a villain. You could have episodes like "Team Rocket vs Cameron", full of explosions, Hyper Beams, Aura Sphere, and all that kind of jazz.

Thing is, if Cameron joined Team Rocket, they would be unstoppable and Ash would immediately lose all his Pokémon, and there would be nothing for Ash to do. Unless the writers decided to make the show purely about Team Rocket Cameron and how they go around the region stealing everyone's' Pokémon. I think that would be pretty entertaining.

That idea could go two seperate ways. either it could be an outstanding idea, or it may just be the worst idea pokemon has ever brought up to the anime. If they ever do it, Nintendo will have to take some risks. It could just be aoneof the greatest ideas, but I don't really see it coming to be honest. I mean, there are loads of kids who loved Cameron, and Nintendo focuses mostly on the kids.
