4th Gen Speed Running: HGSS vs GSC

Just wondering if anyone has done a speed run for HGSS based on previous experience with GSC speed runs.

Considering the addition of Pokemon abilities (Levitate Koffing), the physical/special split, and lack of "element punch TM's" I expect my 20 hour GSC runs to approach 30 hours in HGSS.

Have any HGSS owners here moved towards a speed run?

Elemental punches were TM's in g/s/c

They were replaced with Fire Blast/Blizzard/Thunder, iirc, so it's all good. The accuracy hurts, but I prefer it this way.

I don't like doing speed runs in any type of game. I like to enjoy the game and then never touch it again

Not really sure this needs it's own thread. Game only just came out, for one... and if people want to mention they're doing a speedrun, there's the Johto Journey Journal thread for mentioning it, ideally.
