The only shiny I'm searching for is a shiny Feebas. But that would be via fishing, not Surfing.

Wouldn't it be hard?

I tried finding a Feebas in Emerald, but to no avail! T.T
Therefore, I needed to trade over from my friend.

I would like to catch one myself.
If I did, it'll be an achievement!

Has anyone encountered any shiny water pokemon by surfing around? I caught a red gyarados by surfing between 2 areas in the battle zone in Pearl. I was pretty surprised!

I found a shiny Feebas, Tentacool and Relicanth back in my Emerald days. So far I hadn't caught a shiny one in Pearl while surfing.

I have a shiny Wurmple in my Diamond that I uploaded from my Emerald. I was honestly suprised it was shiny because I wasn't paying attention to sparkle and the sound.

Good thing you didn't accidentaly kill it :D

Thats pretty cool. ^^

What lengths would you go to to get your faveorite Water pokemon?

I spent an hour searching and catching for a Seaking in Emerald's Safari Zone.
I wouldn't want just to catch a Goldeen and evolve it. I wanted something challenging. ^^

So after 15+ Seakings fled, finally caught a decent Lv. 30 one. >.<

And when I catch Horsea and Staryu, all those Wailmers came. And it took a pretty long time. T.T

I've been trying to get a Feebas in Platinum, but it's so hard! I've looked on Serebii, but the catching method is so difficult, I'd rather spend an hour or more on my Emerald fishing one up, then uploading it to Platinum.

I've been wanting to get a Feebas forever...
Also, isn't it easier to get them in fourth gen? Not only are there less tiles, these also four spots that you can get them. Whil in 3rd gen, there were a lot more tiles, and only one spot that you could get them.

Mind if I join in? Water pokemon are definently my favorite pokemon. In fact, I think my top 3 pokemon list goes-
1. Slowpoke
2. Tentacruel
3. Totodile

I also once spent 1 week constantly SRing for a shiny totodile in Gold.

Any lengths I can to get it. My favorite is a Starmie so in the ocean whenever I see a Staryu I make sure I get it lol, I use weak attacks so I don't accidentally KO it. I also use as many pokeballs neccassary. In real life, pretty high lengths because I know I'd really want one.

I spent about two hours catching female marills, in order to get an Adamant one, dude I caught a lot, over 50 I'm sure! I have pretty bad luck to get what I want XD
