Gogoat is not a bulky physical attacker. While Gogoat does have a lot of HP, Gogoat is one of those weird Pokémon with weak to average defenses to go along with it. The only time Gogoat can truly be bulky-bulky is when it is on the field with Grassy Terrain, which, unless Gogoat got a new ability such as Grassy Surge, it wouldn't have a reliable way of setting it up. Better options exist that could serve as a bulky physical attacker without all the hassle of setting up terrain.
I wouldn't recommend using Pikachu on a team at all unless you really love Pikachu and just want to use it for fun because it has a special place in your heart. Otherwise, Pikachu is extremely weak, even with a Light Ball. While the Light Ball does make Pikachu able to hit like a legendary Pokémon, Pikachu still isn't terribly fast and is extremely brittle. I could easily wreck your Pikachu with a strong Ground-type move, and because it is holding a Light Ball, it wouldn't be able to survive because it isn't holding a Focus Sash.
Ceruledge - 75/125/80/60/100/85 (Total: 525) - Fire/Ghost - Flash Fire/Flash Fire/Weak Armor
Ceruledge is very likely to be a good choice. I can see it being a good physical wallbreaker and it does have good stats and abilities, but again, I could easily wreck it with a Ground-type much like Pikachu.
Tinkaton - 85/75/77/70/105/94 (Total: 506) - Fairy/Steel - Mold Breaker/Own Tempo/Pickpocket
Tinkaton is able to learn the new move Gigaton Hammer, which would be its signature move and is extremely broken, as it has 160 power, 100 accuracy, and its only drawback is that it can't be used twice in a row. However, Tinkaton's stats aren't that great and its only good ability is Mold Breaker, but that doesn't really help it perform better in battle in any way. Gigaton Hammer can definitely help it try to break walls, but its rather weak 75 Attack won't help it do that much. The average Attack stat for all fully-evolved Pokémon thus far is 90 and 75 is well-below that. Sure, while the Steel/Fairy type combination is really good, it doesn't always mean everything if the stats, moves, and abilities aren't good, but regardless, if the Pokémon is to be a Steel/Fairy type, then I could easily wreck it with a Ground-type Pokémon . . . again.
Farigiraf - 120/90/70/110/70/60 (Total: 520) - Normal/Psychic - Cud Chew/Armor Tail/Sap Sipper
Farigiraf seems to suffer from the same syndrome as Gogoat, where it has a lot of HP, but weak defenses. This means that, while it probably can survive some hits that would otherwise knock it out, it would still lose a good amount of health. However, it can hit pretty hard with its 110 Special Attack stat, and because of it very slow 60 Speed, it can excel in Trick Room, which it is very likely to be able to learn. Nonetheless, if you like this interesting type-combination that would make it immune to its Ghost weakness, you're better off using Indeedee, which is better than Farigiraf, as it can set up Psychic Terrain automatically.
Quaquaval - 85/120/80/85/75/85 (Total: 530) - Water/Fighting - Torrent/Torrent/Moxie
Quaquaval is, in my opinion, the worst of the starters. Personally, I would prefer Swfit Swim Poliwrath over Quaquaval that knows Belly Drum, but based on the leaks, Poliwrath won't be returning in these games, which sucks. Its move Aqua Step seems to be good though, as it allows Flying-type moves to do Fighting-type damage. However, overall, I can't really see Quaquaval making a big impact. I can see Meowscarada being broken and Skeledirge being a pretty good staller, but Quaquaval would be lost in the shuffle, especially when you have Urshifu returning, which is just inherently better.
