    Sorry if a thread like this has already been created -- I searched for one and the only Spore thread had its last post in April.

    Has anybody heard of the game Spore? If you have post here! I recently bought the Spore Creature Creator, but they have a free trial available for those who haven't. The complete game is coming out September 7th in North America and September 5th in Europe.

    Spore is a God/Life Simulation game where you can create a species of creatures and evolve it starting as a microscopic organism in to one that is capable of even space travel. Creatures made by other players are able to be imported in to your game (don't worry about inappropriate content, though. You can flag an inappropriate creature and it can be taken down). But the game isn't coming out until September like I said.

    The Spore Creature Creator is already out and allows you to just create your creatures. It's surprisingly fun and addictive, though. xD And when the full game comes out, you can import your creations in to the game. The Spore website also allows you to upload and share your creatures.

    The Creator is extremely flexible. You start out with a ball of "clay" and you can shape it in to almost anything. You can stretch the spine, change its shape, and fatten some parts up. You can then choose from many parts such as antlers, legs, feet, hands, leaves, etc. to make your creature. You can shrink the parts down, enlarge them, and turn the around. Lastly, when you're done, you can paint your creature with a variety of colors, designs, textures, and patterns.

    I created a thread for it about a year back, but it quickly died because nobody had heard of its awesomeness.

    But yeah, possibly the most I've ever anticipated a game ever. It looks so frigging amazing. Its just ironic that my gaming computer breaks the week the creature creator is sold :| I'll be getting a new comp soon so i will be frequenting that game a lot. Cannot wait :D
     
    Yeah. I've been waiting for this game for over a year ago but forgot about it until a few months ago because they were constantly pushing back the release date. xD Maybe we can review each others creatures when you get it!

    I think the creature phase will be my favorite, or maybe the tribal phase. Those two seem really fun. Since you have a choice in the game, would you make your creatures be diplomatic or aggressive? I think I'd make my creatures take over other tribes and cities through force. xD
     
    Hmm, not sure. I plan on making my creatures as fat and funny as possible so it would be quite comical making them run after other things with sticks :P
     
    o_o I don't see how anyone could NOT have heard of Spore.

    I have played around with the free/downloadable creature creator and it is really addictive (though this version is kinda limited t.t... I'm too cheap to go and buy it). I've been waiting for this game for a long while too, and all the videos I've seen of the gameplay have been amazing. I can't wait for the full game.

    I want to make Lucario spore people xP

    Or maybe a race of flying kitty things.

    If people bothered to flit back just a single page, they would see there was an active spore thread. That way they could post there instead of bumping one thats been inactive for over a month =]
