    Well, this thread group really isn't very active, but it's still nice to have nonetheless.

    So this is where you can discuss the new season, including upcoming anime you're excited about as well. A general list of the anime for Spring '09 can be found here

    I also noticed Jewel Pets and Full Metal Alchemist. Those look very promising ^_^
     
    I'm looking forward to K-ON! and the Lupin 3rd vs Conan OVA. K-ON! looks kind of interesting and I thought it'd be interesting to watch a more musical based anime. Conan I have to watch, being a huge Conan fan since I was little. XD
    But I don't think I'll be watching much else... considering I still have to catch up on Soul Eater and the other Winter shows still airing.
     
    I'm pretty sure i've got my eyes on K-ON and Valkyria as a definite series. Other than that, i'm probably gonna watch Saki since i got into the manga, though it seems a bit overdramatized...Of course, there's also the other series I pick up due to first impressions
     
    Hm. K-ON is really the only 'I know it'll be good' anime so far.
    But first impressions are always misleading, may it be positively or negatively.

    Oh, and Cooking Idol Mai! Ain! Main!. Yeah.
     
    I didn't even notice K-ON! I'll have to make sure to catch that. Ah, the magic of new anime.
     
    Basara, Pandora Hearts, Shin Mazinger Shougeki! Z-Hen on television, Dragon Ball Kai, and Fullmetal Alchemist are the only ones so far I'm interested in
     
    Still, I was hoping there would be a lot more anime than that coming ;;
     
    - Fullmetal Alchemist - I loved the first series, and even though 90% of the staff is different, I've loved the manga as well, so it should be good to see it animated.
    - BASQUASH - Because nothing says awesome like mechs playing basketball.
    - Hayate no Gotoku - The original series was a lot of fun to watch, so I'll naturally want to see this
    - Dragon Ball Kai - Just because it's Dragon Ball and I grew up on that.
    - Metal Fight Beyblade - A guilty pleasure of mine, but I love everything about it so far, well, its theme song...not so much.
    - Sengoku Basra - Animation looks pretty and I tend to love anything with samurai
    - Konichiwa Anne: Before Green Gables - Another guilty pleasure, but I really love the World Masterpiece franchise of anime for some really nice animation and decent stories.
    - East of Eden - Simply because it's Noitamina and I tend to do better with finishing short series.
     
    FMA remake, Guin Saga, Shangri-La and Queen's Blade for me.
    K-On will probably be the new Haruhi/Lucky Star, so I'll watch it to keep up with buddies.
     
    K-ON! was so cute that my face melted. :((((

    Now waiting for FMA o/

    (Also Eden of the East smells kinda cool)
     
    I'm more interested in FMA, since I got my Alchemist fetish back in shape. Waiting... waiting...

    And besides, I told my brother about Dragon Ball Kai, but he said "No, don't release it". MAN, he was such a DBZ fan, and NOW he said something bad about it? Geez, men, men...
     
    Queen's Blade isn't airing in the Tokyo-Saitama border yet, or I just missed the first episode, dunno.

    Shangri-La is off to a good start, the world setting is awesome.
     
    I really like the following shows:

    Ristorante Paradiso
    Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~
    Higashi no Eden

    So far they are just nothing but awesome!
