Tch. I believe love is where you find it and I -do- believe in Internet love, but I'm just saying that I wouldn't be able to stand the torture of not bing with my loved one... T_T

I hate it because I only have 30 minutes to do a 5 paragraph essay by hand...I suck at timed writing and I got a 75% on mine on the ACT last time I did it ;_;

Well, it isn't that hard, it could be a stretch. As long as you know the subject well enough, you'll be fine. Just study as much as you can on what it's going to be about, or what you think it will be about. That way, even with the short limit, you won't have to worry about digging facts out.
 
You are only the second person to call me something other than Piro or Ryan. XD

Believe me, they spring very inconvenient and obscure topics on you...it's like they actually want you to fail ._.; My real weaknesses are the science and math portions...I really need to study or I'm just going to get another 29 x_x

Study wide areas of the subjects then, if you focurs on one area rather than study a bit of everything, you'll be screwed. So just, study as much as you can on everything you think they might spring on you.
 
If I can learn some Geometry and teach myself to read more quickly, I might be alright x_x I also need to brush up on obscure grammar...differences between commas and semicolons and things like that. Maybe I'll go to the library later <_<;

Just study a lot and you'll be fine.

And it's 30 minutes, not five...XD
 
I thought it was thirty for 5 paragraphs?... eh, thats too short... I would be lucky to have half of that done in that time limit, well, atleast an excellent essay that is.
 
Tch, two years ago I took a thesis an' I didn't stop writing since the moment it started an' 50 mins later when it ended I -still- wasn't finished... an' I wote pretty fast too! >_<

Yeah, mine turned out really mediocre. They asked me if I supported starting school at a later time as my essay prompt, and I didn't care one way or the other, so that made it even harder. Bah =/

Well the thing for those is, even if you really don't support one side more than the other, you still have to at least try and write a prompt for one side. You don't have to make a choice really because it's all just situational really.

I eventually decided to be against it, though I really should have been for it. I had a lot more material to work with if I would have supported it. And on top of everything else, they look for wit and creative speech as much as they look for grammar and sentence structure! That really slants it toward people whose heads are full of clever euphemisms -_-;

You do have to fake yourself a lot in test like that, really shouldn't, but it's always been a part of it. Though I've never had problems with that stuff...XD
 
I think I know what your'e talking about. We had to do an essay on the greatest time in history. I got an 84, becuase when we had to read it out loud, I didn't make the time limit. =\
 
Mwar, all this talk about essays bored the SDCC to death XD
 
Why is everyone talking about writing essays?
