All I have changed is Champion Wallace's sprite and text.

Whenever the champion battle finishes, the text continues as usual, but when may storms into the room, the new wallace's sprite reverts back to his original pallet before being replaced, and the game suddenly crashes with the error code:

    "101C0CB4 jumped to invalid address"

The same happens with all other appearances of new wallace, all with different address numbers but the same error.

What can I do to fix this issue? it's taken almost 8 months now to crack it alone.

So a new update, the pallet that "new wallace" is switching to is May's pallet, which is also the protag's pallet. After removing all changed dialogue, the game no longer crashes, but the pallet does switch mid cutscene.

So I suppose I'm having two problems, one with the changed text that causes a crash when:

    - a multichoice dialogue box opens up (instead of new wallace naming the 4 locations in the cave of origin, he instead just gives a prompt for "yes or no" which upon choosing an option it crashes with the error message "80002108 jumped to invalid address."

    - When may speaks to the protag after new wallace finishes speaking after the champion battle, the game crashes with the previously mentioned error code "101C0CB4 jumped to invalid address."

and a second problem that causes the champion's changed pallet to suddenly revert to may's pallet whenever she enters the room.

Yet again I have discovered more information about the glitch. It appears that no text at all has to be edited for this bug to occur. Simply opening the rom inside of AdvancedText is enough to cause the error messages to appear in both locations. No dialogue was changed but the saving of the file inside of AdvancedText caused the crash.

Anyone know why this program might be causing this?

AdvanceText is an old, outdated, and likely buggy program. I honestly don't know if AdvanceText is actually the cause of your problems, but there's absolutely no need to use AdvanceText in this day and age. To change the dialogue of character events in the overworld, you can use XSE to do it via scripts(look up a scripting tutorial if you haven't already). Even better than that, If you want to change any text inside the rom at all with a lot of safety and automatic repointing, HexManiacAdvance is a very good program that is so safe you'd have to try to break something.
