These are my first sprites and as you can see they are mostly eggs and pokeballs.

Eggs - Cacnea, Paras, Bellosom, Crawdaunt and Slowking.
Pokeballs - Seedot, Macargo, Ralts, Jumpluff, Crawdaunt and Yanma
Items - Sand Bag and Emerald
Recolours - Wailmer and Wailord

That's really quite good, the water is the best bit, although bthe linear dithering (mainly the sand) kills it =/

Manea: The Zubat =/, it's two posts up from yours. And with the voltorb, the shading technique doesen't suit it, Voltorb is round, so using dithering in a linear way isn;t a good thing, curve it off more.
