Heh, it's a nice attempt, but the thing is that GSC sprites only have 4 colours in them (including black and white).

You should go back and further reduce the colours

i don't like it, sorry. i'm sorry no one really gives you enough commentary on your sprites, but what do you expect when you stick with editing sprites? you don't even edit them that much, and they still end up looking very strange.. and wrong.

i really suggest that you start working harder on your spriting, and even try some scratch spriting.

it's nice, but the shading seems a little one sided. try to extend the shading to give the whole object (the pup) equal dimension. it seems that it's based on some image from an anime. if so, it seems you gave the shading too many colors. also, you could use some darker outlining. it's hard to decipher between the different objects in the image.

other than that, it's decent. keep spriting, and getting better at it.

I was bored today so I decided to make a map.

I thought it looked nice. So I decided to post it.

I took sprites from FR/LG for it, so I guess I can't say I made it from scratch.

LESS CONTRAST IN THE SHADING.

Shading doesn't jump between colours like that, its a gradual thing.

Practice will make you suck less at scratches.

I never used to scratch at all, but I do now.
