4th Gen Sprites

Sprite Revamps sounds like a good idea.

I hope the Gym Leaders get cool battle poses, that would be awesome!

That could possibly happen because these are different Gym Leaders than the other regions. I hope they don't overdo the sprite poses though.

You got that right on the spot. They only revampled the Kanto and Johto Sprites in FRLG ( I think Johto anyway) but they left the Hoenn Sprites the same.
 
You know, I personally would be content with non-moving sprites for gym leaders and other notable people if there were maybe a short 10 second or so 3d(or 2d) animation showing off that particular person. Unlikely, but it'd be a great idea, in my opinion.
 
I predict that this remake's sprite would not move. I could be wrong, though.

I hope that they would revamp most of the Gym Leader sprites. Whitney and Clara for the win!
 
I want the Gym Leaders and Elites to have a really nice sprite, and if animated, then for me it makes it all the better.
 
Well I sure hope Lance's sprite shows off more of his cape if it includes animations. I also hope that they don't overdo the sprites into where it's just way too much on the person.

But I think they'll of course revamp most if not all of the pokemon spirtes, and make the trainer sprites match the ones they did in generation 2 (though to see the occasional unique Sinnoh Ace trainer wouldn't hurt either.)

But I wonder if the sprites will be unique between Gold/Silver like they where in the originals.
 
They'll probably remake Kanto/Johto sprites, Platinum sprites look good enough for the Sinnoh Pokemon.

I wanna see the animated gym leader sprites though :)
 
Animated sprites FTW.

Now, they have no doubt changed the sprites for the three starters, as I've seen so far and I have to compliment on them because they look really good.
 
I sure hope they could put animated sprites for the gym leaders and pokemon. I am pretty sure they will animate the pokemon though.
 
The Totodile sprite really shows his personality, or at least the personality of Ash's Totodile.
 
I like Chikorita's and Totodile's sprite the best. For some reason it just shows that they are so jolly.
 
I wish that they will make Gold sprites look different from Silver sprites like they did before, oh yea and make them animated

I agree. I would like to see Whitney's animation sprite as well, it was a bit funny how she forgot to give you her badge.
