Starter Choice Event

So after my last event issue I found another one. I went back and tested the starter choice, and even though I already had one Pokemon I could still choose another. Instead, I want it to say "This is a Pokeball caught by the professor." or whatever the default text is.

Note - I went back in a crucial part in the game. After I fixed the rival event I had issues with, well, basically, here's how the event progression goes:
You start the game. Go to the lab (before going to the lab, the path is blocked by an NPC [have not set this event yet]). Get your starter. Path is no longer blocked, and you can go down into the next city over to challenge your friend/new rival, who doesn't have a Pokemon yet, is jealous, and storms out of his house, then goes to the lab to get a Pokemon, which you are there for and you battle in the lab (a nod to Gen 1/Gen 3's gen 1 remakes). I haven't set the battle/rival choice yet, but before I wanted to do that I needed to test if I could still get the other starters. Unfortunately, I can and idk what's wrong since the script is actually only slightly modified from the one in the starter kit. Maybe the event pages are wrong or there's a switch that I need to turn on? Idk.

Anyway, here are my event screenshots. I'm using the water ball as the example but they all are the same except the types/pokemon so that shouldn't matter, but anyway here it is:

If anyone could tell me what's up and why it lets me choose a second/potentially third starter (which is the problem), instead of not letting me like the game is supposed to do, that'd be awesome! esp. since i cant figure it out.

    It's a very small fix.
In the second page, after the player confirms the pokemon, you need to turn the "Choosing starter" switch off.
Without it, the page is always active for the other pokeballs.
