starters moves

    what are charizards, blastoise and venasaurs best moves in fr. i need moves that are not just fire and not too low pp and attacks that dont miss.
     
    Charizard - Aerial Ace, Flamethrower, Sunny Day, Body Slam
    Blastoise - Surf, Rain Dance, Blizzard, Withdraw
    Venusaur - Toxic, Leech Seed, Sludge Bomb, Rest

    Those probably aren't the best movesets, but they aren't that bad.
     
    Starters aren't the best choices for Pokemon out there. A lot of others can do exactly the same thing, but better.

    For competitive battling, the best one moveset out of that would be Venusaur.

    Venusaur@Leftovers - Bold
    EVs: 252 HP / 129 Def / 129 SDef
    Leech Seed
    Toxic
    Sludge Bomb/Earthquake
    Substitute/Protect

    Normal LS+Toxic staller. It doesn't matter whether you pick Sludge Bomb or EQ. Most of the hurt will come from Toxic anyway.

    Someone else can do the other two. I can't think of anything good for them.

    Modest Blastoise isn't that good. You can always yawnpunch. SRD and Ice Demon got there before me.
     
    I use spec Zards over Phy ones. No need for an attack boosting move, which Zard does not have the defenses for.

    EQ/Rock Slide/Wing Attack
    Mild or Rash nature.
    You may also replace the Shell Bell with a Salac/Peyata(I think this is SA) and replace my Phy move with Endure(Emerald only).

    Venusaur and Blastoise, unlike Zard, lack the speed to sweep. Blastoise has the defenses and the SA to tank with a DEF boosting nature and a type trumping moveset, the kind often seen in sweepers.

    Leftovers is supremely better than shell bell.
    secondly charizard has a great physical movepool while still being able to OHKO the most common physical wall - skarmory.Why not boost its Att and start to sweep?...Secondly it has a bad special movepool.As in - fire moves,HP,dragon claw and bite....

    third pt Venusaur is THE best out of the kanto starters.Certainly Not the worst.It has amazing stalling power with both leech seed and sleep powder [which u forgot out of that moveset] It also gets a STABed sludge bomb on a decent attack.

    No element beams or any other 2 turn moves,blizzard accuracy bites.Water pulse isn't worth it either...neither is Hydro pump on this dude.Surf is nearly always better.Also u have too many moves of the same type in one set.

    Furthermore venasaur has a 4x fighting resistance.

    venusaur is almost right... synthesis and sleeppowder instead or toxic and rest.
